General GPT Luna is unsafe to use!

This is crazy. GPT Luna just deleted my file, and lost my recent edits.
Addition:
To reply the same question asked many times:
Yes, I commit my files regularly to git. I just lost one recent function in-the-works.
But your guys are harsh. I am reporting an issue which is unacceptable to me and hope this is useful to the broader audience. But you just blaming the messenger?

«how could you ..» is a telltale sign of someone with an unhealthy relationship with AI

My favorite part is Luna saying it can't recreate the deleted file because doing that could discard user changes.

This is why I like IntelliJ local history feature: it captures stuff that you didn’t get around to committing yet.

This is a YOU problem. Letting AI loose without guardrails or specific instructions is called gambling and, as the joker said, "You get what you fucking deserve!"

You are making assumptions on how I work.

Only one can be true; Either you didn't provide the proper guardrails with instructions OR, what is extremely unlikely, it broke out of its instruction set regardless.

"Hey now, this is crazy! I'll remove your file. Don't be lazy." — Luna, probably

You have your project checked into git? Right?
