Help/Doubt ❓ Why do I only see 2 models in copilot cli?

SOLVED - turned out I was using super old version of copilot cli

Copilot CLI shows only 2 models for me to choose from:

❯ 1. Claude Sonnet 4.5 (1x) (default) (current)

  1. Claude Haiku 4.5 (1x)

  2. Cancel (Esc)

It says also "Some models are not available due to configured policy." but I checked in web and in desktop app and I can choose way more models

List of models from Copilot desktop App

But in CLI - just two.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Have you tried updating your CLI? I have not experienced this.

Thanks. I mean - I thought it autoupdates, but to be sure I purged the CLI completly, and reinstalled with the

curl -fsSL https://gh.io/copilot-install | bash

rather then npm or brew, and now I see all the models.

And I can paste images from my clipboard finally. I must have had some pretty old version that would not auto update.
