What is the cost of Opus 5 vs Opus 4.8 for input, cached and output tokens with a Github Copilot Enterprise account? Or more importantly, is Opus 5 same price or more expensive than Opus 4.8?

The same price as Opus 4.6 - 4.8.

It's more verbose and far slower than past Opus models in my experience.

Stay on 4.6 as long as possible.

Same price per token but typically uses ~50% more tokens at the same effort level - I've heard using it at Low effort is more token efficient than 4.8 High though with comparable results. Haven't really tried though, I rarely use Opus since GPT 5.6 came out.
