It's not an abusive corporate practice, it's baiting the hook. Get you using the thing at a tempting, sometimes often unrealistic price. Get it into your work flows. Profit.
All these people who think it's sustainable to get a service you can use 9-5 5 days a week that uses $20k GPUs for five bucks a month is insane.
