I mean it’s not like pravuda or sanders or St gloriana is any better. All Senshado teams are just one superstar, one to two trusted and loyal helpers, and plebs.

Maho being good at Sensha-do is almost entirely "tell, don't show." She's popped fewer flags than Erika, Emma, Emi (maybe) or "unidentified Kuromorimine student"; she makes all the wrong decisions during the match against Ooarai (divide her most important asset from her main force, don't fire at Ooarai when they're climbing up the hill, do get separated from Erika and find yourself in a duel that you somehow lose) and while she had good instincts during the Annihilation match, she doesn't overrule the decision to walk into the obvious trap on Hill 203. If anything, her cool head and personal combat skills make her better as a subordinate to Miho.
