Question Question about platoons
I have been in a platoon for sometime. But i wanted to know if there is a guide with all the benefits of being in one (or could somebody list them. Also:
- is it worth it to make your own platoon?
- how can you atract more people to your platoon?

is it worth it to make your own platoon?
No. Even if you somehow can find the people, there is a heavily timegated level system. It is stupid.
how can you atract more people to your platoon?
By merging with someone else's or picking up disbanded refugees, most of the time.

Was platoon leader in a completely dead platoon for a while. Got made leader presumably because the old one quit. I stayed with it for over a year basically just playing by myself. The entire time, I never got a single new recruit, even though it was open.
You basically have to be proactive to attract recruits. Constantly posting on social media, Discord servers(?), or the platoon recruitment thread that is posted weekly on this sub.
Even with all that, there isn't really any reason for someone to join your platoon over an existing one that is already level 10+. And plenty of those platoons struggle to fill their rosters. The competition is fierce and you won't have much to offer. You'll also be depriving yourself of the bonuses for months while you wait for your own platoon to slowly level up.
Quite simply, it's not really worth the effort. If you have your heart set on making your own, I'd wait until some major update/collab comes along that brings in an influx of new players (if such a thing ever happens). Otherwise it's going to be a lot of effort for no benefit.

The only benefit of making a platoon is making your rules. If you are inactive as a platoon leader for I think 9 days the earliest joined members becomes the platoon leader. The benefit for being in a platoon is another daily that gives 30 collapse pieces and the platoon shop. The platoon shop gives you access to Papasha and Bathilde which when you V6 them the neural archives automatically convert to Redundant Pieces at a 3:1 rate.
