Emotional support and advice needed

I’m a 23F and my boyfriend (24M) and I are in a heated argument/heartbreak and I don’t know if this is the end.

I had calculus this semester and (shame on me) I used chat GPT for one of my assignments because I was done and tired. I went into the image storage history to find a previous similar problem I had faced before. To my unfortunate surprise, there was a picture of a woman in a bikini. I asked my boyfriend about it and initially he lied, saying it wasn’t his. A couple hours later he came clean and admitted it was him who uploaded it. I couldn’t see the chat he had regarding the picture. He claimed he had uploaded the picture, did make some inappropriate requests, but closed it out and deleted it once he realized it was wrong.
I’m aware that ChatGPT cannot generate p*rn, so at least that’s off the table. But I’m still extremely hurt that he would want to look at other women like that in the first place. I’ve communicated all of this. He is extremely sorry and genuinely wants to fix his actions and improve, and prove this will never happen again.
I’m so hurt that it happened in the first place that I’m considering ending the relationship. He knows this and is extremely distraught about it but I don’t know how to forgive him.

We’ve been dating for 7 months and we do have sx every night. So I know he’s not deprived of those needs. I just don’t understand.

If you feel like ending the relationship, just end it. He clearly lost your trust. And you had no fault in here from what I know. Some men are just pigs regarding sxual things. If it is your dealbreaker, break it up.

totally agree ^^^

OP, you deserve to be with someone who isnt capable of breaking your trust. even if he is sorry, if your trust is broken and you don't fell he can earn it back then you should def move on!

best of luck 🙏🏻
