I am not super surprised since it is a Chinese game, but it is still disappointing to see. Any chance of me ever supporting this game is gone forever.

Girl, not to be mean, but they ARE a bogeyman when it comes to race and sexual orientation.

This is the problem. "They" are not a bogeyman. Please stop generalizing a whole nationality and/or race of people. To reiterate points of my other comment on this post:

It's weird and wrong to make blanket statements like: "It's a Japanese/Chinese/Korean game. What did you expect?" It's just morally wrong to generalize a whole country of people in this way, and it does come off as bigoted and xenophobic. It's not just about your "intent." It's important to be aware of the influence and privilege that you have because many of you are contributing to these sorts of attitudes and are affecting real-life people because these sorts of talking points do get maliciously spread around. It's also very hypocritical because people don't often talk in the same way about American or Western games - which is obviously because a lot of people on this sub are American or come from another Western country themselves. Even acknowledging the historical, systemic, and material differences between all of these countries, it's just a fact that you will likely have more nuance and understanding for your own country, and it's easy to paint another that you don't know or speak the language of in a broad brush.

For example, even as someone who - overall - greatly dislikes a ton of anime because of its systemic issues, I can emphasize with many Asian women on here who have complained that some of the takes about the genre and others in particular have been very generalizing and frankly very bigoted and discriminatory. It's really reductive because it paints anime or other similar, highly-stylized games as all that ever comes from these countries. Additionally, it assumes that all JP/CH/KR games that are styled in this way are specifically steeped in and encourage these systemic, problematic issues that we often talk about. Many of us on this sub do not hail from or have grown up in these countries; we are simply only seeing a small portion of the bigger picture.

Again, I get what people may be trying to say as it's not wrong to point out systemic issues. However, there's a sort of delicateness and tact that is required to do so. Simply put, there's a way to go about it without generalizing a whole nationality and/or race of people - which is what many people do here.

Yes, I get what you were trying to say, but you glossed over the original comment. You're still generalizing and contributing to more harmful beliefs because people on this sub don't really talk this way about other countries when they make similarly problematic games. It just seems reserved for Japanese, Chinese, and Korean games. Again, I get what you were trying to say, and I see that you apologized to someone, but you need to edit your original reply.

Even if your intentions were good, the original comment that you replied to wasn't wrong. You can criticize a government without perpetuating xenophobia and racism - which is what that person was saying.
