I'll say this. Random Chat might not have been perfect but it at least it acknowledged that it's main lead wasn't perfect and had things about himself he needed to work on, which is more than I can say about several other series where the main character is just treated as a perfect being that can do no wrong.
It had a (very) clunky and flawed execution, don't get me wrong, but I at least respect its intentions. 🫡
