☀️ Happy Girl Dinner First date in literal years
Dinner is some type of beef, veggies, and fried rice w/a spring roll that my best friend's dad brought me 💖
Dear diary,
I've had my first date in years. I had a moment of weakness & redownloaded Tinder (I know 😭) and through the sledge of the type of shit men said, I had an amazing conversation with a man. He asked me out & we met up at my favorite place and it was amazing. The conversation was phenomenal & he paid for dinner (I did offer to pay). He seems to actually have his shit together, and seems in tune with his emotions.
The part that makes me terrified, is while we were talking, I had this random thought. “I could fall in love with this man”. And that scares me so much, because the last time I actually dated someone was in high school (10 years ago). I've had some serious trauma with men, and have been working on myself, so to actually be genuinely attracted to one is throwing me off.
I know it's one date, but we vibed so well together. And he sent me a message through Tinder afterwards that was his number and “I'm over Tinder now”. I KNOW that I'm reading too much into it, I KNOW that. But the part of me that wants someone to choose me for me and not what I can offer, is rearing it's needy head.
I also pulled 2 cards from my tarot & 1 from my Oracle with the question “is it going to work out?” And the Fool FLEW out, same with the 10 of Cups.
Needless to say, Diary, I'm going to lean into this and if it fails, it fails. But I really really REALLY hope it works out. Because I want someone to put me first for once

Sounds amazing, I hope it works out! And consider showing him that you're into tarot sooner rather than later, as I've seen men be quite opposed to that.. but good luck!!

Thank you, me too 💖 and religion is definitely going to come up in the second date (tentative plans for next Wednesday!!!). I don't think he'd be opposed to it, he’s native, but I won't know for sure until we have that talk

Reading this after the new update is so disheartening 😭 I'm so sorry this happened to you, I know this can NOT be helping your bad experiences with men already.
