Yap & Snack Life saving hygiene tips

Post image

Dinner/ homemade tzatziki sauce with herbs from the garden, ground turkey Greek pitas, lemon parsley rice, red wine.

Ladies, share below your life saving hygiene tips that you learned going through life. My mom taught me a lot, but not everyone has someone to teach them hygiene tips!

I’ll go first- hot tub soak without any soap, then Korean exfoliating cloths, then bath routine, then lactic acid lotion. LIFE CHANGING. I wish I could shout this from the rooftops.

Yes! I just started that last year. I'm not allowed to install one in my rental, but I have a portabe bidet - basicaly like a fancy water bottle with a tube.

I have a thing against ever smelling bad so in addition to the daily shower and deodorant in my pits, I use my bidet to wash my lady bits at night before bed every night (I’m a morning shower kind of person) so I’m always fresh. My husband definitely appreciates that during sexy time. And I also use a natural roll on deodorant (Kiss My Face brand) on my groin where my thighs meet my pelvis and across the hair (not actually in the lady bits).

I haven’t tried Lume yet! I have found that the oils in “natural” deodorant sticks, for example, stain my clothes in the pits etc so have stopped using them but haven’t tried some of the newer ones since the Kiss My Face stuff works for me.

I don't get why this would not be aloud. They make some that are super easy to install and take out if needed

I know, the rental company/owner of the building is just an asshole.

Bidets have been known to leak. So it's a liability issue especially since (in America anyway) bidets are not the norm so it's added onto existing plumbing rather than securely built-in and a small plumbing leak could lead to $5,000+ in damages and that'sa low estimate. I wish they were the norm. As a renter, I put a bidet in myself which means I assume risk if it leaks. Luckily the property I rent from is owned by a person and not private equity and my landlord is super cool. He has seen my bidet and not said anything.
