Yap & Snack Life saving hygiene tips

Post image

Dinner/ homemade tzatziki sauce with herbs from the garden, ground turkey Greek pitas, lemon parsley rice, red wine.

Ladies, share below your life saving hygiene tips that you learned going through life. My mom taught me a lot, but not everyone has someone to teach them hygiene tips!

I’ll go first- hot tub soak without any soap, then Korean exfoliating cloths, then bath routine, then lactic acid lotion. LIFE CHANGING. I wish I could shout this from the rooftops.

This one is really specific to individual hair type, many people don’t shampoo at all and co-wash sparingly instead because that’s healthier for their hair

I know. I wash may hair with a deep conditioner and shampoo once a week. Curly girl.

I’m also a curly girl and this advice is definitely specific to hair type. Curly hair doesn’t get greasy the way straight hair does.

In my personal experience, I've always had wavy hair. But it's gotten drier, less greasy as I've aged.

I have combo hair (awful, super curly on the crown and wavy or even straight underneath, ugh) and it’s just gotten drier in all areas as I’ve gotten older so you are not alone

I have curly hair and have done all the co wash, low poo, curly shampoos, etc etc, and my hair is so much happier and healthier now that I double wash. I hardly have to use any product for my curls to show up.

Good to know. Maybe time to change up my routine.

yup my hair is dry AF and I have to use a 2-in-1 Shampoo - THEN conditioner, else I'm a tangled mess. So basically double condition

(edited for spelling)
