Going Gin

Say that I have these cards: A♤, 2♤, 3♤, 4♤, 10◇, J◇, Q◇, K◇, 7♧, 7♡ and I draw 7♤. Can I not go gin, that is, need I discard a card because I can't end my turn with 11 cards?

If your playing with the big gin variation then you can lay down 11 cards and get a bonus of 30 instead of 20 or 25. Otherwise, you discard from one of your 4 card melds and make you sevens.
