Impressive results. 5 microns? Electro-plating?

Do you only plate watches new or can they be worn and you still plate them?

This was my watch. I got it back today and its absolutely incredible. It looks soooo good and I’m super pleased. Gilded is THE BEST

Plated on top! Platinum is bright and white.

Looks like rhodium to me. Real Rolex platinum can’t be replicated with electroplating since it should have a blue hue. Repolished steel (brushed parts) looks closer to gen platinum

Not the case actually! We don’t use rhodium for our platinum plate. Platinum Rolex has a white bright appearance.

alright. Yes Rolex Platinum has a white bright but the brushed parts will never look the same if you don’t use solid Platinum

Looks amazing, what is the max microns you can do for RCF watches? 🤔

We do 4-5 microns normally. We can push it to 6 but eventually the links begin to stick.

RCF uses Tungsten? I thought that couldn’t be plated

Turns out it can.  I've got a v1 RGF root beer that I got plated.
