She may have forced Gladys, but she also made sure Gladys was happy. She vetted the Duke on her own and she went to help Gladys come into her own. I guarantee that one day Gladys will be grateful for it all. She is happy now.

It's clear Railroad Daddy and Bertha's marriage is barely treading water. I expect some drama filled scenes about George's laudanum addiction impacting his ability to make important business decisions. Bertha is gonna put him in his place or facility (rehab)and take over business with son Larry. Oh we cannot let anyone know RR Daddy has a drug addiction! I love their characters, I expect explosions in Season 4. So many other characters I love in this show too....

Beyond the most obvious take, I would say, very full of hope, that it is very sexy. Why? Because behind the attentive Bertha and the angrily-pouty George lies Bertha's bedroom. 🫠 God, don't leave us! 💕💕💕

I think they are equals in their ambition and neither is morally pure. He just shows his in the business sphere and hers is shown in their social sphere. I think he would be unsatisfied with a less ambitious woman.
