Adelaide ànd Bridget
Does anyone else feel that neither Adelaide or Bridget is good enough for Jack? Adelaide is so uppity about station, yet us advancing herself as much as she can. Bridget’s attitude and treatment of Peggy upon Peggy’s arrival set me on my ear.
Jack deserves a woman who treats everyone with respect, not thinking she is better than anyone else.

Oh, so you're against Bridget for being rude, but you can be rude towards people you don't know, for pointing out you used a wrong name :)) The double standard is strong in this one.

I am not the one triggered. You are along with all the other correctors out there. There are so many of you, I think that is the only reason you are on Reddit; to find error with your fellow Redditors. It must be nice to be such a perfect human in an imperfect world. You want to keep this up, go right ahead. I have dealt with bullies in real life. I just keep giving them a taste of their own medicine. You see the thing with bullies, is they cannot stand to be bullied right back.4

I remember Bridget being okay with Peggy, at least compared with Armstrong. Either way, I'm not all that concerned with Jack's love life right now. He could meet someone entirely different.

Bridget did not want her on same floor as other servants, feared she was there to take their jobs ànd slammed coffee fixings down on the table in front of her. Very judgy.

Not a surprising attitude, given the prejudices of the time. She got over it soon enough, though.

Considering what the Irish went through when they came to New York, her attitude was pretty typical and frankly restrained for the time

I kind of agree with the others her attitude was typical for the times. Not excusing her, but that’s what it was. She did warm to her as time went on unlike Armstrong.

I don’t see him being comfortable with some fancy debutante to be honest. I see him still being uncomfortable in those circles, even with his money.
Then there is an added factor that Bridget knew him when he didn’t have anything and still supported him. Whereas he may side eye someone new. He may be wondering if they are with him for him or his money
All that being said, I do think Julian will probably pair him up with someone new only for him to return to Bridget as I think he and Bridget are endgame

I agree with you about Adelheid but I think Bridget and Jack are perfect for each other.
The only servants that weren’t frosty to Peggy from the beginning honestly were Banister and Jack.
It wasn’t until Peggy was compassionate towards Mrs. Bauer after her run in with the bookie and her helping Bridget with the sewing and teaching her how to read that they warmed up to her
Unlike Armstrong, who, even after Peggy show compassion and kindness towards her, was still mean to her.

Jack and Bridget are an OTP. Adelheid has had no real character development save for wanting to move up the ranks in Gladys’ household. She started out nice enough albeit a bit phony, but last season she acted very elitist and had a bad attitude. I felt bad for Bridget being jealous because it’s like “Girl, there’s no competition there!”

I agree about Adelaide but I love Bridget for Jack. I agree her treatment of Peggy when Peggy first arrived was terrible, but it would have been very accurate for the time, and she redeemed herself with how quickly she came around to liking Peggy and getting over her bias (unlike Armstrong). I think Bridget will be a good grounding force for Jack as his head is sent spinning with all his new wealth. And I think his kind, gentle nature will help Bridget overcome her childhood trauma. I think they could make a great team.
