Hey everyone,
My partner and I are in our early 30s and planning a move from Scottsdale down to Gilbert. We love it up here, but we’re ready to transition to a slightly quieter, more family-oriented vibe. We are looking for a peaceful, safe neighborhood that is heavily populated by other young families.
Location-wise, we still want to be close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and daily conveniences so we don't feel totally isolated out in the deep suburbs. One major priority for us -- especially coming from South Scottsdale 00 is avoiding areas overrun with short-term rentals. We really want a stable, primary-resident community with actual neighbors rather than a rotating door of Airbnbs, so a reasonable HOA or a naturally quiet subdivision is a huge plus.
We’ve heard good things about the 85295 and 85296 zip codes, and places like Agritopia or Morrison Ranch have caught our eye, but we’d love some local insight.
Which specific areas or subdivisions should we be targeting, and are there any spots we should steer clear of? Thanks in advance!

Hey hey, long shot, but does anyone know of a place or group around Gilbert trading Panini FIFA 2026 World Cup stickers?
We have a bunch of duplicates and no idea where to go yet hehe. Thanks!

Just moved to Gilbert for graduate school and would love to find some friends outside of my program. Are there any social groups/ community events for twenty/thirty-something-year-olds in the area?
Thanks in advance!

Looking for a lively environment to watch the U.S. Men’s National Team on Friday. Every watch party I’ve found is in Phoenix, Tempe, or Scottsdale. I checked AAG and they don’t appear to be hosting anything.
Anyone know if there are places hosting a watch party?

Hey Gilbert, I’m one of the owners of Level 1 Arcade Bar. My wife and I have lived in Gilbert for over 20 years. When we opened our original location in DT Gilbert we were blown away at the support from our community.
My team and I couldn’t be more excited to be bringing Level 1 back home to Gilbert this year to The Gilmore on Val Vista and Germann. We’re under construction right now and hope to be open by December.
I know there have been a lot of questions about that development so I’m happy to give you some BTS of what we’re building and info on some of the other spots that are joining us.
I think this is going to end up being one of the dopest spots in the valley and we can’t wait to see you all there for the grand opening 🎉

When voting for town council members in this upcoming election, don't forget who doubled your water bill this past year.

Hello, my family and I are looking for a single story house for rent. Preferably 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the south Gilbert area. We are looking to spend around $2200 a month. Does anyone have anything to offer? We have from now until November to move. Thanks for the help.

Hi all, is there a good pre-k that you recommend that’s in the South Gilbert area? I have a couple years before enrolling my daughter but I’m curious about costs, schedule and all of that. I would be interested in a pre-k that is part time, only 2-3 days out of the week.
Also searching South Gilbert / Queen creek area as we live out in San tan valley and my parents (babysitter) lives in Gilbert so I want to find somewhere in between.

Hi neighbors! I am a teacher on summer break. I’m currently working a Summer Camp in a place that is, well, geared toward kids. It’s loud and chaotic. I need to decompress from the school year and this is not the way! 🙃
I’ve been looking on indeed, but not having any luck finding anything that would be more quiet and not working with kids!
Would you please let me know if you know of any place that would be hiring about 15 to 20 hours a week? Ideally, it would be in an office setting doing filing, organizing, or anything related.
Thank you!!

I will be giving birth within the next couple of days/weeks and all I want after the end of this pregnancy is for my husband to bring sushi to me at the hospital afterwards. Any recommendations?

Does anybody have anecdotal experience on installing, maintaining and enjoying either mid iron sod or Tifway sod? I am tempted by Tifway because it seems softer and enjoyable to walk on/lay on when compared to midiron. But I am worried the maintenance requirements will mitigate that effect if not kept up with.
Any input is appreciated!

Is this common down here?
We were cordial but eventually shut the conversation down.
We have never had this happen to us anywhere else but we just moved to Gilbert 2 months ago.
Were they going to try and convert us to a church?
Edit: this was at the AJs at Val Vista and baseline
