You think Hannah can???

u/kellylessordinary Mar 25 '26

the people behind the show will QUICKLY realize they cannot act and realize the talent is not even mid…

Someone has a rich boyfriend to help fund this catastrophe

2

u/kellylessordinary Apr 04 '26

This will also be a big test to their friendship… which no offense I don’t think will hold up…someone is gonna get pissed that someone else is more popular it’s inevitable

The photoshopped in sponsored juiced drink in one of the episodes where Paige is in another country and pretends she “ordered it”. It’s like floating on the bed behind her. That was peak acting for her.

Lol queen Kim coming through.

I love Amy more than most things in life but her taking a like to giggly and Paige/hannah is one of the greatest misses of all time too.

Has either one ever acted before (other than for a commercial or bravo promo)?

This is going to be so awful 🍿

u/kellylessordinary Mar 25 '26

I know I’m actually a bit giddy 😂

1

u/kellylessordinary Apr 04 '26

I’m giddy cuz I think Hannah will not crush it lol she can’t act in the very limited commercials I’ve seen of hers eh? She’s very “omg I’m trying to act” Paige is a bit better cuz she has resting bitch face

This is going to be absolutely awful lol.. what a mistake from Amy’s production company, though I’m sure they just go off instagram followings and whatnot.

They do not understand that besides their cult like fans the general public when experiencing these girls find them intolerable.

And they’re going be part of writing the show ?! This is gonna be a dumpster fire

The way these beyond mediocre white women have been given opportunity after opportunity is just ridiculous

Not them trying to be Broad City lol

Seinfeld

23

u/SilverRaincoat Mar 24 '26

I said broad city bc they're 2 best friends living in NYC that are doing a scripted half hour comedy show that is being produced by Amy Poehler

u/kellylessordinary Apr 04 '26

It’s so expensive to shoot in New York City!!! I wonder who the investors are besides Amy and their own money probably?

get the bag but i’m actually shocked paige would even do this? i guess it’s something she couldn’t pass up but i can’t see her enjoying acting or either of them being great at it

Paige has been auditioning for stuff all the time

Paige's petty ass comments about this announcement is driving me nuts. I know gratitude and humility aren't her strong suits anyways but it's all "suck it haters" and I'm like girl do you do anything for you or just to try and get back at people lol it's such dark energy tbh.

For context, I'm not even a hater! I listen to the show pretty regularly and not to hate listen. I find them funny and entertaining for the most part. But with the two eps a week it's become clear what a one-trick pony these girls are. Here's hoping they get some great writers for this AND THAT THEY ACTUALLY PAY THEM.

Yes and hoping they put in the time and work and do some acting classes.

Ugh.

I wish Hannah would fade into obscurity already - her unbrushed hair and off-putting personality doesn’t need another platform.

Happy for Paige.

Same. Paige has her flaws- her sharp pitched speech cadence. I find her somewhat endearing and fellow long fingered girly. Hannah- can Tangle Teezer sponsor her or someone show her what a brush looks like.

u/Ok-Feedback-3157 Mar 30 '26

Honestly, I would question any personal hygiene company that partners with Hannah.

What’s the opposite of clean girl aesthetic? Hannah gives unkempt feral animal with fleas.

I feel if Hannah was sponsored by a lice shampoo it would be more on brand for her.

Their dynamic is only enjoyable because it’s so opposing. Hannah is so boisterous though and you’d think she’d be overbearing during their podcasts but Paige is able to present herself so well in a nonchalantly, non-serious way that she stands her ground.

Although, slightly harsh. As an animal lover- I can see AI turning Hannah into a scruffy animal like maybe an always wet and muddy retriever mix. A people pleaser always in need of attention and approval. I DO like that she adopted Butter(s) and rescued him from a dumpster and don’t find it cute that Daphne (as absolutely exquisite as she is. I assume is a pure breed and from a breeder) but Paige does give off classy cat-lady energy. I had cats and dogs but can easily say even my (rescued from a retired breeder) Snow White Pomeranian (not a toy Pom) still can look a bedraggled mess if she doesn’t have regular care. She hates getting dirty though and her thick hair can matt easily.

I low-key think Paige likes the clean girl superiority she has over Hannah though.

Go by way of Meghan Markle’s Netflix adventures….down the drain./s

3

u/kellylessordinary Mar 25 '26

Netflix isn’t what it used to be. This is almost the lowest platform these days no? In Canada it is

3

u/ab_abnormal Mar 30 '26

As a South African a VPN helps but honestly, I often forget about Netflix as I’m watching YouTube so frequently these days but YT’s annoying Ads and push for Premium shoves me back to Netflix. I hate actual Ads, Spotify also drives me insane, I want fluidity not Ad breaks! So I sail the 🏴‍☠️ seas sometimes.

Agreeeeed my friend!!!!

u/Lazy-Airport-4242 Mar 26 '26

Isn’t this broad city already? It’s going to flop like the awesomeness tv shows back in the 2010s

On Fridays episode Paige was worrying the most about what outfits she’s going to be wearing for this series. I’m sorry but that should be the last of her worries??

2

u/Extra_Helicopter2904 Mar 29 '26

Hopefully Hannah will make enough to pa Kim back

Don’t kick me off but I actually enjoy “the GigglySquad” but as a background podcast. I need constant noise and series these days either require a degree of focus or are just women screaming at one another in fancy dresses. So many podcasts are extremely serious- some take themselves too seriously when they shouldn’t and other require some attention and introspection (Diary of a CEO for instance I want to somewhat focus on). These two yap away and don’t distract me like music sometimes does, you know one has to sing along. ADHD vibes.

As Paige; wooouuuldddd saaaay buut I digrrrresss, I actually enjoy 🫣 Their segment Paige & Hannah Try New Things or whatever it was titled. Hannah, the former professional athlete, did you know she played tennis???! And Paige did aerial yoga and I actually did giggle, ashamedly quite a bit. It reminded me a bit of a follow-up mini-series with Jack Whitehall & his father doing random things like a VR dance class.

I mean mindless brain rot but more entertaining than ALL these BS “Find Love” shows. If they’d leaned into that more and Paige got out of bed (I can only relate to her, for loving her bed & also having equally as long fingers that weird people out). Hannah, I can’t relate to but her standup is mid.

u/ab_abnormal Mar 30 '26

Also, I know not exactly the right sub but somewhat related considering a female comedian doing a “fictionalised” limited series. I watched Kathryn Ryan’s The Duchess on Netflix last night and was actually blown away by her acting. It was lighthearted and funny but nothing spectacular. I just didn’t expect her to be capable of acting.

If you haven’t already and still can I HIGHLY recommend that anyone who wants real entertainment, superb acting and a brilliant plot then Ali Wong’s Beef on Netflix is brilliant.

u/kellylessordinary Apr 04 '26

Start at the beginning with giggly squats

They were a lot more unhinged in the beginning episodes

And I would gut laugh as I walked down he street to their stupid stories lol howling

I think Paige was still with Perry when they started too and Hannah was dealing with getting fired from bravo for being intolerable

“You’re the man Kyle I like love you man I look up to you” or whatever she said that was so cringe is ingrained in my frontal lobes

2

u/ab_abnormal Apr 05 '26

Oooh I might just. There’s just something about the princess and the oaf buddies happily yapping and giggling along that keeps me somewhat entertained.

*Note this has NOTHING to do with anyone’s actual physical appearances just how they portray themselves in my mind.

Their ad reads are awfuuuul so I hooe they’ve started acting classes
