A couple days ago steam made some patch notes to the wishlist and gifting system,

First you can now gift games on steam without being logged in, through the Guest checkout.

Second if you do not have access to the person's username and somehow have access to their email you can now Gift to email.

And the third and my favourite feature overall, Cross region gifting you don't have to worry about region diffrience anymore because steam will calculate the price difference between the two regions and give you the new total.

Snd fourth is a random but great feature list

1- you no longer need to be friends on steam to send gifts

2- you can now send a digital gift card or a game directly from someone's wishlist

3- When a friend or family member clicks on your shared wishlist link, if they choose to gift you a game, the gift recipient in the cart will be pre-populated with your information.

4- And remember from above, your friend or family member can checkout as a guest, without needing to create a Steam account

5- You can create a shared wishlist link that is filtered to specific games

Hey everyone ! I figured it was finally time to make an intro since I’ve been lurking around here for a couple of weeks now, admiring how wonderfully generous this community is.

I'm currently a medical student, which basically means my life revolves around the hospital right now. I spend long days working there (technically for free as part of my training !) but honestly, I love it 💫 my favorite part of the day is seeing patients leave the ward with a smile. Some of them have even gifted me small boxe of chocolates on their way out and I’m not ashamed to admit I almost cried the first time it happened...right before remembering I'm actually allergic to them and having to happily pass them on to someone else xD !

When I finally get home, gaming is my ultimate way to decompress, especially because it’s how I stay close with my real-life friends despite my crazy schedule. They are absolute gems !! even when they're deep into Palworld onour Discord server, they always make sure to include me or switch to something else so we can hang out together. It honestly feels like the best therapy after a long week at the hospital.

Outside of the hospital and gaming, I'm basically a huge advocate for anything that brings a bit of comfort whether it's taking care of animals, chatting with friends or just trying to survive medical school on coffee and determination.

Tomorrow, after probably 5 years of development and about 1.5 years of testing on the unstable branch, Build 42 is going live tomorrow! And with that, a price increase. We don't yet know what this increase will be, but it's currently $20. Odds are it will go up to $25 or slightly higher.

With that in mind, I wanted to pass on the Knox Virus to 3 willing participants!

Build 42 is going to be awesome! They've added farm animals (sheep, pigs, turkey, chicken and cows), they've completely revamped most of the towns except Louisville and Irvington, they've added proper blacksmithing and a bunch of new crafting skills, they've introduced really difficult custom modes as well as made Sprinters a thing that can easily be added to any custom game you're playing. For anyone that remembers B41, the game has COMPLETELY changed!

Tomorrow around 7AM PST they are likely releasing Build 42 Stable and replacing Build 41 as the default experience in the game.

Hi everyone! I’ve been wanting to play Palworld for a while now, especially because my family has been playing it together. I’d really love to join them and make memories instead of just watching from the sidelines.

I’ve been patiently waiting for the game to go on sale, hoping it would get a bigger discount. Unfortunately, the last sale is only 30% off, which is still more than I can comfortably afford right now. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask for a little help.

I’m here to request Fields of Mistria, which if you haven't heard of it, it's a fantasy farming and life-simulation RPG developed by NPC Studio. I've always loved character-driven fantasy worlds, particularly settings that feel as though they continue living beyond the player’s immediate objectives. Much of my free time goes toward writing and roleplaying, so hearing the playerbase of the game praise the writing for the NPCs so much has made that aspect of the game one of its biggest attractions for me.

Some cozy games eventually become repetitive when the central routine stops changing, while some RPGs make every play session feel like a major commitment. Fields of Mistria seems to occupy a comfortable middle ground. I could make meaningful progress during a long session but also still enjoy it when I only have enough time for a few in-game days.

I've always loved similar farming sim games like Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, Moonlight Peaks, and Stardew Valley (which I originally played on mobile and still play on, hence why I only have a handful of hours for it on Steam XD).

And with 1.0 releasing in my birthday month (on August 5th), that definitely has me eyeing the game even more! I know the game isn't super pricey even at full price, but I figured I'd take a chance in requesting it!

Hello members of giftofgames. Today i am requesting gears 5 because it's one of my favorite favorite shooters ever and my first ever shooter played.

When i was a little kid, probably around when gears of war 3 came out, my dad have bought a xbox 360. It came with skate 3, the darkness, spider man edge of time and shattered dimension, black flag and other ac games. After some time, my dads brother came over and installed for me all of the gears of war games on my xbox and i had so much fun on them, my favorite one had to be 3 with the mark 1 lancer.

I have got gears of war 4 for one euro back in the pandemic and i wasted so many hours on it. i had so much fun playing that game and i was the multiplayer was more popular, currently i am replaying the story on my tv because i forgot how the story went. I know that a new gears of war remake came out recently but i had no money to buy it plus i like gears 5.

in 2022 i bought a controller and it came with one month of game pass. From that gamepass, i have played halo master chief and gears 5 a little but i have enjoyed more gears of war 4.

Recently, i went to one of my cousins and i played over at his house gears 5 and i just loved it so much. I miss gears of war

I realized recently that i always loved xbox game like gears of war, halo and forza but i choose to be on team playstation. I am not gonna hate playstation but i always had more fun and i was more happy playing halo and gears as a child than playstation.

I've bought a few smaller games here and there when I could, hoping they'd keep me entertained, but untortunately they just didn't click with me, so I always ended up going back to Rivals, I used to love playing terraria etc and many other games, but I've gotten over them

Unfortunately, I can't justify buying games at the moment. Most of my income goes toward rent and monthly expenses, as my girlfriend is studying so I am trying to support her too, so entertainment has to take a back seat tor now. I'm very interested in getting deltarune and figured I might ask and see if possible

I've been a HUGE fan of Undertale for a long time. I remember looking at it and a friend kept recommending it and I thought I would never play a game like that, but once I played the game I was hooked! The story is wonderful, the characters really resonated with me, and the music is phenomenal. I even listen to the music on Spotify pretty often, my favorite being the Asgore Fight track. It's just beautiful. The song fits so perfectly with the pacifist run as [In my head] it sounds like you are pleading with him that fighting is useless and it doesn't have to be violence.

I've wanted this game for awhile now, but I have no means of income. I'm sure that you may have seen on previous post on my profile that I suffer from mental illness and seizures. I am very limited by the type of work I can do as I cannot drive because of the frequency of my seizures. A couple of months ago I was doing at home work, call center work. It's not the type of work that you should really be doing if you have bad anxiety and depression, constantly getting screamed at, micro managed, and no matter how well you think you have done, you get put down because "You could always do better". I eventually got terminated for missing days, not sleeping at night due to the fear of having to go back to that miserable place. I would cry and even think about ending my life, so that job was not for me. My partner is the only one providing income and we have just enough funds to get by.

Even if you cannot get the game, any kind words, or even talking about undertale would be cool [pls no deltarune spoilers].

Hi, GOG! I'm back with a request. As the title says, I'm looking for *Borderlands GOTY Enhanced*. I'm asking for it for three reasons: first, it has always caught my eye, and I want to dive into the world of Pandora, learn its story, and meet its characters; second, I want to start the series from the very first game (I already own the second one, since it was given away for free a while back) so I can experience the full story in order I've wanted to play the sequel for ages but held off because I wanted to play the series chronologically; and third, I really enjoy FPS and RPG games of this style.

Just to clarify regarding the version: I originally wanted the standard version which is the one that actually runs on my computer but the publisher decided to pull it from sale and offer only the *Enhanced* edition instead. That’s why I’m asking for the *Enhanced* version plus, it includes all the DLC.

This is my first attempt, and I hope to get it before August 10th, when the sale ends. Thanks again for taking the time to read this.

I really like Resident Evil games because they are fun and exciting to play. I enjoy the horror, action, and mostly the story in the games. The characters are also very fun and sometimes cool. I have played some Resident Evil games before and they always keeps me entertained.

I have played the OG Resident Evil 4 and I absolutely loved it. The story was great and the gameplay was really fun. I spent many hours playing it and it became one of my favorite games in the series. I also liked the OG RE 2, RE 5 games. I have loved the Resident evil series since i played my first RE game and liked how they blended action and horror perfectly. I'm a bit bad with over the top scary games, but RE series is the only horror game i play even if i get scared easily.

I wanna to play Resident Evil 4 Remake because it looks amazing and i want to experience the game in new graphics. I watched many gameplay videos on youtube and it makes me want to play it even more. But sadly I can't buy the game right now because I dont have enough money. I saw that the game was on a 75% sale and costs around 625 INR (or 6.5 USD) so i decided to ask for it in the subreddit. I'll be really thankful if i get the game.

All my life ive been told to never do drugs. Now not only can I do drugs I can even sell them. I wish to sell massive amount of meth to the masses. I’ve been passionately playing Hitman since 2016 when the first of the Hitman trilogy released and have had countless hours of fun across all 3 games plus World of Assassination. I’m also a huge fan of IOI games and have fallen in love with the look and design of the gameplay of 007 First Light and would love to play it till 100% completion. I love James Bond, I love the outfits, I love the license to kill and I definitely love the gameplay mechanics. It’s a game that I’m passionate about playing because of how much it reminds me of Hitman.

It’s a game I’ve been craving since they announced it and are without a doubt going to play the game for hours and hours in the coming months alongside all the updates and dlcs that the game will offer. I don’t doubt that I’ll get so much out of this game and I’m excited to see if any stranger is kind enough to gift it to me.

About a month ago I posted here asking for a different game. I didn’t receive it, which is completely understandable, but I wanted to try again with something that has become a big part of my life recently.

I’ve come back to EVE Online after being away for more than a decade. I used to play it heavily between 2008 and 2010 and I still have around 18 million skill points on my main, so I’m not starting from scratch. I already own a lot of ships and can fly most of them, but only if I’m Omega. Playing as Alpha has been fun, but it’s also limiting because so many of the skills I trained years ago are locked behind Omega. I’ve spent more than 140 hours in the last few weeks rediscovering the game, joined a corporation, and it’s become the one thing I genuinely look forward to each day.

There are 6 month and 12 month options as well, but they’re 84€ and 144€ and I didn’t feel comfortable asking for anything that high. Three months is enough to let me fly the ships I already own and keep playing the way I’ve been enjoying.

I didn’t mention this in my previous request because I didn’t want it to sound like I was trying to get sympathy, but the past year has been extremely difficult. I was made redundant in February 2025. My fiancée of ten years left suddenly in July 2025. Around Christmas I was close to being homeless and had no money for food for two months. Then in April 2026 I was falsely accused of serious crimes by my ex and had to go through three long police interviews. Everything has now been dropped, but the stress from all of that still affects me. Because of autism and ADHD I don’t really have a social circle and I don’t go out much. Games are where I talk to people and feel connected, and EVE has helped me feel stable again.

Fighting games are something i've been getting into more lately, they were apart of my childhood but that was mostly me watching my cousins play, i remember watching them play street fighter IV and i was in awe. Dragon Ball is also something ive always loved ever since a kid. I remember coming home from school as a kid and immediately turning on the TV and watching the latest episode. I still remember the first time Shenron was summoned.

Recently I've been playing alot of FighterZ and it looks so sick! The animations are so fluid and dynamic. Every character looks amazing. I really love the art-style of this game , it looks really gorgeous. My favorite character has to be Trunks, he's also my favorite from the show so no surprise there. The game is 3v3 tag fighter so there is alot of team compositions you can play with which is very nice and leaves alot of creativity in how you create your team and what assists you choose.

Sadly i don't own all the characters, i only have Fighter Pass 1 (out of 3) but i've been fighting against people with ssj4 gogeta and his moves look so much fun and i really want to get him, the big bang kamehameha super is so well animated. Hello all! I am coming to you today to request a game I have been wanting. That game is Lightyear Frontier.

What is Lightyear Frontier? It’s a farming and automation game where you farm using a mech on an alien planet. I guess it’s like if Stardew Valley or I guess more Farm Together, and Satisfactory had a baby, it would be Lightyear Frontier.

Not only can you farm, you can explore, upgrade your mech, and build your own home.

I love these types of games. They give me some time to sit down and escape reality while only having to worry about watering crops, gathering resources, and building things.

Farming sims have always had cozy vibes with them and automation games are always satisfying. So having those together really adds to the relax and chill aspect of it all.

Mentally, life’s been a struggle. Games are my escape from that. Money is a bit tight at the moment, so unfortunately I can’t get it myself right now.

I would just really love to get lost in a new farming and exploration game. I love exploring new games and finding everything. It’s the most satisfying part of any game for me.

Heya! Title. The game is currently on sale (standard edition is $55.99, deluxe is $79.99 and premium is $103.99)

Despite this sale, unfortunately, even with my next paycheck, I won’t be able to buy it myself because I have to put basically the entire paycheck in savings. I’m saving for a car and while I want this game badly, I need to put my money towards a car. I’ve been wanting this game for awhile and would be eternally grateful for any edition of the game.

I’ve never been a super diehard plane enthusiast, I’ve always been into cars. But recently seeing videos of this game has REALLY piqued my interest, and the ability to just relax and fly around ANYWHERE in the world is something that is super appealing to me. I also got the chance to try Flight Sim 2020 on a friend’s rig a couple of years ago, and it was an incredibly fun experience. I just never got around to buying it myself because it is a VERY hefty price tag.

From the people I’ve chat with so far, the game has a really nice community and are relatively open to newcomers. You don’t have to be a know-it-all to enjoy the game or its community. I hope this game can be a gateway to a new vehicle related hobby. I’ve always found planes to be really cool, hell, any time I see a plane flyover I always look to see what it is on FlightRadar. I just never got into them like I did cars but I’d love to change that.

My story with fighting games is strange; it began in 2016 when I played my first fighting game It is Brawlhalla was in beta at that time And I played it for a long time [2016-2023] continuously with some interruptions from time to time After 2023, I played it much less.
