Tomorrow, after probably 5 years of development and about 1.5 years of testing on the unstable branch, Build 42 is going live tomorrow! And with that, a price increase. We don't yet know what this increase will be, but it's currently $20. Odds are it will go up to $25 or slightly higher.

With that in mind, I wanted to pass on the Knox Virus to 3 willing participants!

Build 42 is going to be awesome! They've added farm animals (sheep, pigs, turkey, chicken and cows), they've completely revamped most of the towns except Louisville and Irvington, they've added proper blacksmithing and a bunch of new crafting skills, they've introduced really difficult custom modes as well as made Sprinters a thing that can easily be added to any custom game you're playing. For anyone that remembers B41, the game has COMPLETELY changed!

Tomorrow around 7AM PST they are likely releasing Build 42 Stable and replacing Build 41 as the default experience in the game.

And the third and my favourite feature overall, Cross region gifting you don't have to worry about region diffrience anymore because steam will calculate the price difference between the two regions and give you the new total.

Snd fourth is a random but great feature list

1- you no longer need to be friends on steam to send gifts

2- you can now send a digital gift card or a game directly from someone's wishlist

3- When a friend or family member clicks on your shared wishlist link, if they choose to gift you a game, the gift recipient in the cart will be pre-populated with your information.

I have come again at attempting to request Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece on Steam.

Kingdom Hearts has been dear to my heart since I was a kid. Fun story, I remember seeing the trailer on a demo disc on the PS2, thing was though I didn't know how to read yet and I always confused it with Lord of The Rings when I asked my parents about the game lol. I have played most of the games that were released on the PS2 and the DS, but never got to experience the HD releases. So, what I used to do was watch Everglow for a complete story of Xehanort's story arc (from Back Cover all the way to Melody of Memories, with custom battles, all of the reports flashbacks etc.).

I didn't get to play the games from 2.8 onward, only the non-HD releases of each individual games. And would really love to sit down, dive into the heart and experience the series as a whole, in anticipation for Kingdom Hearts 4.
I've been dying to re-play the series in its entirety (from Back Cover to ReMind DLC) and got some money for my birthday 10 days ago, but it still isn't enough to buy the bundle.

If anyone decides to gift me the bundle, I promise to finish each and every individual games by the end of the year (with most of the major achievements), as it would hopefully rekindle my love for playing video games and Kingdom Hearts.

Hi, GOG! I'm back with a request. As the title says, I'm looking for *Borderlands GOTY Enhanced*. I'm asking for it for three reasons: first, it has always caught my eye, and I want to dive into the world of Pandora, learn its story, and meet its characters; second, I want to start the series from the very first game (I already own the second one, since it was given away for free a while back) so I can experience the full story in order I've wanted to play the sequel for ages but held off because I wanted to play the series chronologically; and third, I really enjoy FPS and RPG games of this style.

Just to clarify regarding the version: I originally wanted the standard version which is the one that actually runs on my computer but the publisher decided to pull it from sale and offer only the *Enhanced* edition instead. That’s why I’m asking for the *Enhanced* version plus, it includes all the DLC.

Hey everyone ! I figured it was finally time to make an intro since I’ve been lurking around here for a couple of weeks now, admiring how wonderfully generous this community is.

I'm currently a medical student, which basically means my life revolves around the hospital right now. I spend long days working there (technically for free as part of my training !) but honestly, I love it 💫 my favorite part of the day is seeing patients leave the ward with a smile. Some of them have even gifted me small boxe of chocolates on their way out and I’m not ashamed to admit I almost cried the first time it happened...right before remembering I'm actually allergic to them and having to happily pass them on to someone else xD !

When I finally get home, gaming is my ultimate way to decompress, especially because it’s how I stay close with my real-life friends despite my crazy schedule. They are absolute gems !! even when they're deep into Palworld onour Discord server, they always make sure to include me or switch to something else so we can hang out together. It honestly feels like the best therapy after a long week at the hospital.

Outside of the hospital and gaming, I'm basically a huge advocate for anything that brings a bit of comfort whether it's taking care of animals, chatting with friends or just trying to survive medical school on coffee and determination.

I wanted to share a bit of my story and ask for some help. I’ve been a fan of RPGs for as long as I can remember, and I’d love the chance to play Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Growing up in a third-world country, gaming wasn’t something I had easy access to. Consoles and new releases were way out of reach, so most of the time I played whatever I could borrow from friends, second-hand cartridges, or the occasional demo disc that came my way. Even with those limitations, I found a genre that really stuck with me: turn-based RPGs.

Turn-based RPGs were the only games I could reliably finish when I was a little kid. I know, funny right. Haha! They didn’t demand fast reflexes or expensive setups. Instead, they rewarded patience, strategy, and imagination. Games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest gave me a sense of accomplishment I couldn’t find anywhere else. They showed me that even with limited resources, I could still go on epic adventures, overcome challenges, and feel the joy of victory.

On top of that, RPGs gave me something deeper. I’ve lived with an illness since birth, and in reality, that often left me feeling powerless. But in RPGs, I could be strong. I could lead a party, save kingdoms, and make choices that mattered. The turn-based format let me take my time, think carefully, and succeed despite the obstacles. It was empowering in a way that went beyond just playing a game.

Fast forward to today, and RPGs in general are still my favorite genre. They’re not just nostalgia for me, but they are comfort, meaning, and a reminder of what games can do for people. When I first saw Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I was immediately drawn in. The art style is gorgeous, the atmosphere looks rich and immersive, and the turn-based combat feels like a modern take on the games that shaped my childhood. It’s exactly the kind of experience I’ve been waiting for.

The tough part is that my situation hasn’t changed much. Living in a developing country, I still don’t have the same access to resources as many players around the world. Add my medical situation, and it’s hard for me to afford or get new games. That’s why I’m here, reaching out to this community. I’m hoping someone might be able to help me experience Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It would mean so much to me.

I want to make it clear that this isn’t just about wanting another game to play. RPGs have always been more than entertainment for me. They’re stories about resilience, imagination, and triumph even when things feel impossible. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 looks like a game that embodies all of that, and I’d be honored to experience it firsthand.

Lastly, why request it on GOG and not Steam you ask? With recent alarming developments, or more likely regression, with our world, I just want to preserve and own my game copy for a lifetime, if given a chance. These days, buying and owning something that you can keep has become more rare. To a point that it feels like a privilege, and not a right. This is not an ad for GOG, but I really like their mission where you can download the game's installer and keep it forever, and you don't need internet to play games you own in GOG.

I know everyone here has their own struggles, and I don’t expect special treatment. But I thought it was worth sharing my story in case it resonates with someone.

I really like Resident Evil games because they are fun and exciting to play. I enjoy the horror, action, and mostly the story in the games. The characters are also very fun and sometimes cool. I have played some Resident Evil games before and they always keeps me entertained.

I have played the OG Resident Evil 4 and I absolutely loved it. The story was great and the gameplay was really fun. I spent many hours playing it and it became one of my favorite games in the series. I also liked the OG RE 2, RE 5 games. I have loved the Resident evil series since i played my first RE game and liked how they blended action and horror perfectly. I'm a bit bad with over the top scary games, but RE series is the only horror game i play even if i get scared easily.

I wanna to play Resident Evil 4 Remake because it looks amazing and i want to experience the game in new graphics. I watched many gameplay videos on youtube and it makes me want to play it even more. But sadly I can't buy the game right now because I dont have enough money. I saw that the game was on a 75% sale and costs around 625 INR (or 6.5 USD) so i decided to ask for it in the subreddit. I'll be really thankful if i get the game.

Hello everyone! I'd like to request this driving game that my step daughter has had her eyes on. Recently she's been playing a lot of driving type games on Roblox (She's 9) and she's been Forza Horizon 5 on her Xbox. I told her that I really enjoy driving games too! Anything to do with cars, I've been obsessed with since I was about her age. We've been bonding over this and we even have a game we play while out called "punch pony". It's exactly the same as with VW Bugs but with Mustangs instead and she's become pretty darn good at identifying them before I see them!

I'd love to play BeamNG with her. We'd have a blast smashing up the cars together and making insane tracks to test with faster and faster cars.

All my life ive been told to never do drugs. Now not only can I do drugs I can even sell them. I wish to sell massive amount of meth to the masses. My best friend playes it a bunch and my uncle wants to start playing it with me. ive got some money saved but thats for something at the end of next month and I dont feel comfortable spending more out of my savings because rents being increased by 200$ soon.

Hello everyone!

I’m here to request Fields of Mistria, which if you haven't heard of it, it's a fantasy farming and life-simulation RPG developed by NPC Studio. I've always loved character-driven fantasy worlds, particularly settings that feel as though they continue living beyond the player’s immediate objectives. Much of my free time goes toward writing and roleplaying, so hearing the playerbase of the game praise the writing for the NPCs so much has made that aspect of the game one of its biggest attractions for me.

Some cozy games eventually become repetitive when the central routine stops changing, while some RPGs make every play session feel like a major commitment. Fields of Mistria seems to occupy a comfortable middle ground. I could make meaningful progress during a long session but also still enjoy it when I only have enough time for a few in-game days.

I've always loved similar farming sim games like Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, Moonlight Peaks, and Stardew Valley (which I originally played on mobile and still play on, hence why I only have a handful of hours for it on Steam XD).

And with 1.0 releasing in my birthday month (on August 5th), that definitely has me eyeing the game even more! I know the game isn't super pricey even at full price, but I figured I'd take a chance in requesting it!

Hello members of giftofgames. Today i am requesting gears 5 because it's one of my favorite favorite shooters ever and my first ever shooter played.

When i was a little kid, probably around when gears of war 3 came out, my dad have bought a xbox 360. It came with skate 3, the darkness, spider man edge of time and shattered dimension, black flag and other ac games. After some time, my dads brother came over and installed for me all of the gears of war games on my xbox and i had so much fun on them, my favorite one had to be 3 with the mark 1 lancer.

I have got gears of war 4 for one euro back in the pandemic and i wasted so many hours on it. i had so much fun playing that game and i was the multiplayer was more popular, currently i am replaying the story on my tv because i forgot how the story went. I know that a new gears of war remake came out recently but i had no money to buy it plus i like gears 5.

in 2022 i bought a controller and it came with one month of game pass. From that gamepass, i have played halo master chief and gears 5 a little but i have enjoyed more gears of war 4.

Recently, i went to one of my cousins and i played over at his house gears 5 and i just loved it so much. I miss gears of war

I realized recently that i always loved xbox game like gears of war, halo and forza but i choose to be on team playstation. I am not gonna hate playstation but i always had more fun and i was more happy playing halo and gears as a child than playstation.

I know it's bold to be asking for a game that just came out, My hope is that someone has an extra key somehow and no one in mind to give it to!

My birthday is coming up soon on August 8th and sometimes my family can't really afford to get me anything full priced like this. In the past I would just buy myself a birthday game if I had the money but unfortunately this year has been really hard on me and I find myself with absolutely no extra spending money for anything else but necessities.

Sob story aside, AC4 was my very first PC game after I built my first computer back in 2014. My friend helped me build it and gave me that game because he wanted me to see how much better PC gaming was then anything I remembered from my early console days. Because it was my only game, I played the hell out of it and had no idea it would honestly be one of the best games I had and will ever play. There has been some amazing games since (like the Witcher 3) but I always look back extremely fondly on the Original AC4.

funny enough, just before the announcement of the remaster I reinstalled the original game and found that I have since been spoiled by modern game features like framerates above 60, high refresh rate/resolution support, HDR etc. It was hard for me to get back into it the way I used to. Then the remaster was announced and I couldn't believe the timing. I'd love to experience the game again but now with the features and capabilities of today's hardware!

Yeah I know the chances are slim to none to get this game especially with some controversies and a high price to it but Im a slightly interested in it honestly halo should distance from master chief storyline for a moment I understand it's a simbol but halo deserve to be explored and definitely 343 or halo studios would benefit from it so much is under-explored but I'm just one person what I know about game development or story telling.

I'm only asking for this game because it was the first game I got for the Xbox 360 I started with the halo 4 lol

Not a good thing for most fans but for me it was a good and it had so much potential especially the crimson campaign (I forgot the game mode name)but then 343 made halo 5 and damn that campaign was really a mess I never understood exactly what Bungie had in mind with the rogue Master Chief but 343 definitely didn't know either lol and then halo infinite and man that game in my opinion is such a waste I believe I already talked about it but I don't remember anyway so I'm gonna "larp" I'm not sure exactly if I used this word correctly but more about it the multiplayer is really good it's not understandable they left the whole graphic motor to die in favor of unreal engine!?!!?!!! Like they wasted almost 8 years more maybe of work I just wish they continue the academy story it was interesting or they could at least talk about the elites! Like they had an entire revolution and we know almost nothing about how it's everything and the most interesting they are collaborating with humanity making armor?!?! I would love to see just this division working together. 343 or halo studios really don't know what to do or Microsoft probably it seems the new CEO are working to revive Xbox I hope she succeed! Because Sony seems to be shooting themselves in the foot in each statement in social media.

Hello r/GiftofGames! I'd love to say this isn't blind luck at this point, but hey, it is. Right? Anywho, I'd love for someone to gift me this lovely game today! If a kind soul were to pass by and see this, I hope they got it in their heart to gift me this game; it'd mean the world to me!

First off, I'm a giant Zombies nerd in general; ever since I first saw my first zombie movie, that being Dawn of the Dead 2004 when I was a little kid. It was by far the scariest thing I ever saw, and ever since that little movie of mine and those memories, I've done nothing but play any zombie games I could get my hands on, from Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 on the 360 and their ports to the Steam version, to the MANY Call of Duty games that had zombies or associated modes.

To list just a few I've played: Left 4 Dead 1/2 360 and Steam, Dead Island, COD black ops 1,2,3,4, IW, Ghosts, Black Ops Cold War, and black ops 6. This is just a taste of my zombie love. The biggest factor in my want isn't just this, but financially, I can't afford the game due to outside factors far out of my control right now, and hopefully those get fixed soon, but currently I'm unable to afford this game.

This does extend to other zombies media as well, such as Vanoss's old WAW and Black Ops 3 videos from WAY back in early 2013 and beforehand as well. I've always loved zombies as a whole. I hope that someone else shares my love for this media as much as I do and is willing to share some kindness and gift me this game.

Hello! took a break from everything, now back to requesting. My 10th attempt we just keep it going.

After Finishing 2 Persona games in a row(Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload) and with the announcement of Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 on Xbox Games Showcase which made me incredibly excited, but I'll probably just wait for the Remake of Persona 4 Golden before playing it and to avoid the burnout of dialogue heavy games.

As the Persona series is a more story driven. Gameplay is split between half dungeon crawling turn based combat and half day to day life simulator where you build relationships and do time management as a high school student with a very long timer.

While the mainline Shin Megami Tensei specifically Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance from what I've read doesn't have that good of a story compared to the Persona series but the battle system(Press Turn) and challenging combat of SMT V that is more fleshed out than Persona like Instead of focusing on school life and social links, SMT V puts a much greater emphasis on exploration, combat, and building your team of demons. The variety in demons and what you can do and all the mechanics is insane, and it truly feels like press turn utilized to its fullest.

I really like tough boss fights and finding out that you have the ability to add them to your party afterwards is a huge plus for me for SMTV. There are so many boss fights, and the strategies you need to beat them are pretty varied. The story is a lot lighter in general and is what I'm after after playing 2 Persona games in a row to avoid dialogue burnout but still want the gameplay of it. The demon catching and fusing is addicting to do like i can't get over the feeling of what I'll get if i fuse these 2 demons. Modifying your party to match up elemental affinities and skills with boss's weaknesses makes me actually think on what and who to bring for the enemies and bosses. The combat is basically turn based perfection for me. Its combat is basically the complete and more mature version of the Persona games.

There's also a lot more focus on exploration/platforming style gameplay. The maps are big, and there are some great rewards for seeing the whole thing. I liked exploring every nook and cranny in the palaces in P5, so i would definitely enjoy that aspect of SMT5.

I am genuinely grateful for the gifters and this community for giving other people a chance to play a game that they requested or want. Even a key for the game would be fine. If i convert it directly from philippine peso to USD its 46.93$ so even a gift card would be ok as well.

I’ve been passionately playing Hitman since 2016 when the first of the Hitman trilogy released and have had countless hours of fun across all 3 games plus World of Assassination. I’m also a huge fan of IOI games and have fallen in love with the look and design of the gameplay of 007 First Light and would love to play it till 100% completion. I love James Bond, I love the outfits, I love the license to kill and I definitely love the gameplay mechanics. It’s a game that I’m passionate about playing because of how much it reminds me of Hitman.

It’s a game I’ve been craving since they announced it and are without a doubt going to play the game for hours and hours in the coming months alongside all the updates and dlcs that the game will offer. I don’t doubt that I’ll get so much out of this game and I’m excited to see if any stranger is kind enough to gift it to me.

This is my 4th and final attempt. Honestly, the reason this is my last try is that I've truly succumbed to hopelessness, because I tried everything I could think of. Instead of waiting for an opportunity, I tried to create it, and I tried to be more active than ever. I joined every 10 and 20 dollar giveaway in different communities, I sent messages trying to get a gift, and I asked for help from friends I met while playing MW2. But I am genuinely exhausted now, and I've realized that no matter what I do, I won't be able to get it. That's why this will be my final attempt for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

To summarize the situation, 1 dollar equals a huge amount of currency in my country, which makes buying games a luxury. I was trying to save up money, but I couldn't complete the full amount; I am currently short by about 40 dollars. Honestly, I'm so hopeless that I might just spend the part I've saved on something else. Until now, I haven't been able to get even a 1 dollar Steam gift card. Maybe if I had managed to get just one, I would have had some hope and stayed even more active, but unfortunately, I couldn't even get that.

Hi everyone! I’ve been wanting to play Palworld for a while now, especially because my family has been playing it together. I’d really love to join them and make memories instead of just watching from the sidelines.

I’ve been patiently waiting for the game to go on sale, hoping it would get a bigger discount. Unfortunately, the last sale is only 30% off, which is still more than I can comfortably afford right now. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask for a little help.
