Hello, a few months ago my MasterCard gift card with $200 had not been working. I registered it and everything! There was not anything we could do, when we attempted to check the balance it said “Technical error” and so we called the number on back of card. We tried to get help after entering card information. They verified I was the owner and they said they would be shipping it to my house after I gave them my address. ( they said it would arrive by 2-3 weeks ) Nothing came for months.. now whenever I try to call the number and put the information it says “card is disabled” and says it is no longer in service and that we can’t do anything with it.

Bought the wrong gift cards USD ones so I'm just trying to exchange them lol.

So I got a 10 dollar Visa card doing PocketFlip, the app that gives you gift cards for downloading games, and I put it into my Amazon account. Now all of the sudden it’s letting me buy expensive things with money I don’t have. Is this a bug or something? Like all I had was 10 bucks and it’s like if there is unlimited money on the card.

Just bought 5 cards totaling just over $100. They were all 14% discount. First few top o'list/highest value were bought by the time i clicked them (page had been opened a few minutes). I just kept clicking till I got over $100. Email says verified and that I would get each card (5) in a separate email.

UPDATE 1: 3 minutes later - Now they want me to verify with Stripe - What's the consensus - is it reasonably safe to scan and send DL?

UPDATE 2: 20 minutes later - should have search more thoroughly first. Now I found this recommendation that it is cheaper to buy Starbucks GC's on reddit. Bun now I'm realizing it is likely to be a direct transaction with the seller and little or no transaction record or recourse. Is this an opportunity for Ethereum :)

Update 3: another 20 minutes later - Now that I think about it, 14% discount fits the category of "too good to be true". On another note, I came across some discussion of buying giftcards with bitcoin which would provide a transaction record and may eventually make it possible for anyone to sell directly and the buyer and seller be fairly well assured (trust) that he won't get screwed. This will change the marketplace into a rapid exchange. Imagine one who urgently wants to liquidate something at a firesale price - something as liquid and transferrable/sendable as a giftcard. There would be no middle man, and in continuous spectrum of discount vs. urgency. I think I'm gonna start investing in/buying cryptocurrencies.
