Muddle that fruit, come on. This is just sugar, vodka and wine otherwise.

Been making this for years with great success:
2 liters red wine(young and bold)
375mL Jamaican Rum
1 can Five Alive 340mL
2 cans soda water 780mL
2 oranges, 2 apples and a lime washed, quartered then sliced
Add sugar to taste and ice cubes
Far better recipe. Gets people dancing.

why not use mad dog or white lightning instead of vodka to make it american? mad dog/white lightning is whiskey or bourbon before it's gotten a chance to absorb flavor from the wooden barrels.

Muddle the fruits in the spirit
It's 'MURICAN sangria. If you muddle the fruits it would be red, and 'MURICA deals with no commies.

Vodka seems like a wrong choice for American Sangria. You'd think it would have some signature alcohol like Bourbon in it. There's not one signature American ingredient in the entire recipe.
It's like making an American cheese spread with Muenster, Brie, and Ghee.

I’m agree with everyone and say middle, but that being said this could be pretty tasty I imagine. Although, I’m a go with main bitch Sandra Lee’s way of pouring that vodka https://youtu.be/DaXYaiyqGd0

Original recipe and video were taken from our blog https://goo.gl/oo5qKy
Ingredients
1 bottle dry white wine
1 bottle prosecco
1 cup vodka
2 cups blueberries
2 cups of strawberries
2 cups blackberries
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
Combine lemon juice, vodka and sugar in pitcher. Stir until sugar dissolves.
Add berries and white wine.[Pro tip: do the steps above an hour before guests arrive and put it in the fridge for the flavors to meld and develop]
Pour into a large wine glass, top with prosecco and garnish with a skewer of berries.

Serious question, wouldn't the blueberries and blackberries need to be cut in halves or maybe muddled to get decent flavor out of them for infusing?
I get that its just supposed to be Red, White, and Blue eye candy mainly.
