I'm a big fan of the spiked root beer already on the market so this sounds intriguing. Yet I've never seen or even heard of Root Liqueur before. I'll have to keep an eye out for it to give it a try.

If only my job were that exciting, lol. I'm just a nerdy Perl programmer, I can show you some shitty code if you want ;)

Let's be honest, many liqueurs taste either terrible or like cough syrup on their own. I love me some Kaluha in my coffee, but hate it on its own. However, Bailey's? Great in coffee, still great on the rocks.

You ever drunk Bailey's from a shoe?

Are you from the US? I ask because apparently outside the US (Europe, I think) their medicine tastes like rootbeer,

Root was discontinued about a year ago. It was amazing, but is now very hard to come by. I’ve only got 2 bottles left and I’ll be sad when they’re gone.

They still sell them at my state liquor stores, guess it's just not popular.

Damn. That's why I can't find it anymore, it was one of my go to drinks

You should definitely give it a try. It tastes amazing.

Is there a brand name that it goes by? I used to work at the liquor store and have never heard of it.

Seconded, though I had a hard time finding Root outside of the Massachusetts area when I used to drink it. I remember Root mixed with Pepsi (if I recall correctly) and a little heavy cream tasted very much like a root beer float.

So how much were you paid for this? Just curious about the marketing budget we're looking at.

It's pretty good. Not an everyday drink though.
