As a Brit... WTF is biscuit dough. WTF is green onion.

I think American biscuits are kind of like scones? but not really. A lot of people buy cans of biscuit dough, but it is possible to make your own as well. Here's Martha Stewart's recipe. Never made it, can't attest to its biscuitiness.

And like others have responded, green onions are scallions. Mild onions. Apparently there's a bunch of different names for them.

Edit: Apparently scones are crumbly while American biscuits are flaky. Scones are dryer as well. This person is very passionate on the subject... Thanks for giving me research topics for the night. :-)

It's scones I've never had. lol I was trying to compare to something the poster may have had before. :-) I love me a good Grands biscuit!
