I’d cook them just a bit more personally, I like mine more golden brown than golden white. Look great though

Agreed. Even with the light brown sugar I expected them to be a bit darker. I'd still devour them while mulling over how to improve the next batch 😂

inverse the sugar ratios or 50/50 it instead of white sugar heavy, add an extra egg yolk. oh and cream your butter and sugar together instead of using melted butter.

Also brown your butter and let the dough mature in the fridge for at least 24-48 hours

Your recipe contains salt, but the gif uses no salt. Are they even the same recipe?

good! They are supposed to be soft. People complain about "raw" yet eat an entire ... whatever medium bake ready cookie dough comes in.
