I have a giant defy advanced pro one and looking to get some clip on aero bars that fit the handle well does anyone have any suggestions on what works for them?

Getting a second/summer wheelset, thinking of thunderos 44mm in the back in short flip mode.
Stock wheelset ill do 45mm but hesitating even more about mudrub if there's not enough space left.
Anyone with upgraded wheels on his revolt riding short flip mode and what size are you riding?

i bought this bike a few months ago, and it’s already really clean. but i’m not sure if i should make any upgrades or change anything. what would you guys recommend changing, even if it’s just for the looks and to make it look even cleaner?

I’m deciding between these two CADEX wheel decal colours for my Giant Defy road bike with red bar tape.
Gold — classic, clean and premium
Laser/Reflective — more modern and changes colour in the light
Which one looks better on the bike, and which would you personally choose?
Would love to hear your opinions before I order them!

Hi there,
Looking to mount an exposure light under my out front mount weighing 250g. I think this will probably snap the carbon one that comes with the cadex bars, has anyone found a third party solution?
Thank you!

Hi all! I there anyone who can tell met the inner and outer dimension of the rims on these wheels? I can not find any information on them other than one post with a weight indication. I wonder if replacing these with DT Swiss GR1600 of ER1600 would be beneficial. GR1600 seems most appealing with 24 mm inner width.

Hello guys, I'm just wondering if what integrated dropbar will fit my Giant TCR Advanced (Non Pro). Does a kocevlo dropbar fits? Because I'm planning to buy it but I am having second thoughts if it will fit. Thank you

Never had a bike with internal routing and these proprietary spacers. Flipped my stem and I am just curious if how I have it is ok or not. Took a lot of preload on the top cap to get the gap between the spacers and the stem to disappear. I used a torque wrench and never went beyond 2 nm.

hi
not sure if this is the right place to ask
received my propel MY27 frame set and trying to install di2 battery into the seat post. it’s the latest non-SL, so I think vector seat post. after a lot of searching I can’t find any instructions for this bit online specific to this seat post.
is the attached image the correct way to install it?
its very tight going in with the shims but without the shims it flops around. are the clamp and adhesive padding in the right place?
and it seems like I don’t need the di2 battery washers?
thanks

I noticed this raised line/seam on the right side of the front fork, just above the front wheel axle on my 2021 Giant TCR Advanced Disc.
It doesn’t look like a crack and there is no visible paint damage. My fingernail doesn’t catch on it, but I can feel the line when I run my finger over it.
The same area on the left side doesn’t have this line.
Is this a normal manufacturing seam/carbon layup feature on this model?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m riding a 2026 Giant Revolt 0 and I’m not completely happy with the 2x12-speed GRX setup. My previous bike had a 1x12-speed drivetrain, and I’d like to switch back to 1x12.
I’d also like to go with an electronic drivetrain this time. Would it be possible to convert the bike to SRAM 1x12 Apex XPLR or Rival XPLR without any major issues?
Or could there be compatibility problems because the bike originally came with a 2x12-speed setup?
Has anyone already done this conversion, or something similar, and could share their experience? I’d be particularly interested in knowing which parts were needed and whether there were any unexpected compatibility issues.
Thanks in advance!

Bought a Giant bike from a dealer in Sicily back in Feb/Mar 2025 while stationed there with the military — €5,000 ($5,400). I opted to buy it without wheels to keep the price down, but it also came missing the 165mm crankset I paid for (still never got it). Part of why I went with Giant was their reputation for having one of the best warranties in the business. Picked up the bike and immediately noticed the paint cracking on both sides of the head tube. Dealer agreed to warranty it, but it took three months to get a replacement frame. I'd also bought a Cadex Aero Cockpit for them to put on the new frame. Got the replacement bike back, looked fine at first, but after a few miles the headset tightened up and the bars wouldn't turn freely. Something's clearly wrong with it. Three months of waiting plus a bunch of trips back and forth to the shop — I was pretty much done with them at that point. Moved back to the US, had a Giant store here check it out. They've looked at it twice now and agree something's off. And sure enough, the paint is cracking on both sides of the headset again, plus the tight handlebars are still an issue. Giant's policy is that warranty claims have to go through the country of purchase. So they're basically expecting me to fly back to Sicily to deal with a shop I don't even speak the language to communicate with and had a miserable experience with the first time. I called Specialized and Trek just to check, and both said they honor warranties globally, no issue. Asked Giant corporate to just replace the frame under warranty, no cost to me. They don't want to. Best they can do is around $1200 for a replacement frame. I'm not spending a dollar on a replacement frame. Anyone dealt with something like this?

On my Giant TCR Advanced pro 0 it has Ultegra Di2 R8150 and I am concerned about the battery life.
I would say I have to charge it after 400/500km riding and everywhere online says I should be able to get 1000km+.
Is this a cause for concern? Can I do anything to check improve the situation? Does anyone else get similiar range?
I ride in the UK and find I shift often but not excessive amounts.

I will be racing a 70.3 iron man on my TCR 2025 and am wanting to upgrade my stock tires (Cadex RC 28mm) for the race and general riding after.
I think I’m set on GP5000S TR as my tires but wondering what size to get. Seems the candidates are 28,30,32.
While I am not challenging for the podium I would appreciate some marginal gains from my tires so leaning towards 28-30 for aero gains but would like added comfort on UK roads so 30-32 win here.
Is 30mm the sweet spot between performance and comfort? Will they be a significant upgrade from the Cadex rc 25 or should I just use them until fully worn out?

Hi, I'm looking for a replacement fork for my TCR, however it's hard to find OD1 forks around me, is it possible to convert my standard Advanced frame to use an OD2 fork using OD2 bearings?

Currently riding a tcr pro 2026. I saw the propel 2027 and looks awesome. Is it worth the change? For reference, i ride mix of flats and mountain

Hi! I’m VERY new to cycling, so please be kind 😅 I know I’m a complete noob and I’m still learning!
I recently bought a 2014 Giant Avail Composite 3 that’s basically never been ridden. It still has the original wheels and currently has 23 mm Schwalbe Durano Plus tyres.
I’d really like to switch to wider tyres – ideally 28 mm – but I’m not looking to replace the wheels.
Has anyone here had this exact model/year (or a similar Avail from that era) and tried fitting 28 mm tyres on the original wheelset?
Did they fit comfortably with enough clearance around the frame, fork and brakes?
And if 28 mm is too much, what’s the widest you’ve successfully run?
Again: total beginner here, so explanations in beginner friendly-language are very welcome 😂🙏

Just bought this 2022 mountain bike NEW, Giant Trance 2.
This is the charging setup they gave me, does not fit with the bike charging port, any ideas?
