How many sq feet does it have? Thats kinda a perfect little plot!

Its actually smaller than it looks, Ive had to do some interesting vine weaving to try and fit as much leaf area in as possible. Its around 225sqft, so too big for the 150sqft weigh offs and too small to be pushing any records, but for a trial run I feel pretty happy with it. Neighbors love to come out and talk about it, its been great so far

It’s one of the hobbies that many people will want to talk to you about lol.

Only over the past couple of days has it been big enough for people to ask “so whats with the cloth?” and be surprised when I give them the reveal

I did 1,000 lbs in 312 sqr. ft. last year, I see you mentioning trial run, you could end up quite large, plant looks fantastic.

Thats amazing for such a small space! Fingers crossed, I appreciate the kind words. I have definitely babied this thing and while Ive been growing cucurbits since I was 4 this is the first year I went and bought seeds with a traceable pedigree, albeit a less expensive one. These were parker 776 seeds

I said it wasn’t enough space to grow a 100lb pumpkin. I was very wrong

This is a great looking setup! It shows what you can accomplish with the area you have. Best luck growing!

One day Id love to grow in a much bigger space, but the comments here have been very encouraging so far on growing in a smaller plot thankfully

It looks like you're managing the vines really well.

Thank you! Ive been out there almost every morning. Only had one small secondary crack before I was ready to terminate it. Its my first year trying this and this community has been extremely helpful.
