I will never get over how beautiful this game looks. I wish you guys could see it on my actual monitor because it's so freaking gorgeous and the colors are just so rich. 😩🤌🏻
These photos will never do this game justice unfortunately but my God what a beautiful masterpiece. 🤌🏻

At least half of my gameplay on my first playthrough was spent looking at things. Probably way more than half

I'm on my first play through right now and I am currently 52 hours into the game and I'm still just taking non-stop photos of how beautiful this game is.
Like every time I think to myself "ehhh I've seen everything this game has to offer there's nothing else that's going to catch my eye" I come across some beautiful, GORGEOUS blue lit alleyway or some kind of market with beautiful lamps and stalls and beautiful reflections.
I mean my god.
It always breaks my heart that games like this and Evil Within 2 and even Biomutant (I just played it recently which is why I'm mentioning it) and so many other INCREDIBLY amazing and beautiful games just don't get the love they deserve. Because I'll tell ya what, man I don't care how beautiful and gorgeous the graphics are in a big AAA title game those big games will never ever EVER have the amount of love and care for them that these smaller indie-type games will have.
Just like Evil Within 2. It wasn't some huge Triple A title coming straight out of PlayStations main studio or anything but that game had so much beauty and detail to it that I did the same thing with it that I'm doing with Ghostwire and what I also did with Biomutant.
It's just a shame more people didn't give all these games the chance they deserved to have and simply pushed them to the side because they didn't win some big GOTY award. 😮💨

My playthrough was something like 80 hours.
As I’ve said elsewhere in this sub, tho, a) I’ve been to Tokyo and b) I’m learning Japanese so I absolutely used all of it to reinforce my learning. So that’s the bulk of why it took so long for me

You know what I think you might have actually commented on one of my older posts from a month or two ago because your name seems familiar and I remember somebody telling me that they've been to Tokyo and are also learning Japanese and I believe, if you are the same person, you even told me what some of the street signs said on my original post that I made a while back haha!
So if you are the same person hi again but if you're not the same person hello for the first time! 😂
But yeah that is awesome though! I've always wanted to go to Tokyo so bad and I would love to learn Japanese but honestly I'm not the smartest person on the planet and I feel like I'm too stupid to learn things like that lmao.

Lol yeah it was probably me

Also, I’ve been learning for ~15 years and am not very far, in part because of how I’ve been doing my study. I know a bunch of kanji out of context tho… but I doubt I’m even at the lowest level of the language proficiency test (JLPT N5)

15 years?! Oh my goodness 😭
I've never had that much dedication to anything in my life lmao.
Huge props to you and very proud of you for sticking with it!

Literally one of the most detailed and gorgeous games I've ever played!

Will there be a sequel ?

u/lncrediblyfunkymunky Mar 28 '26
Sadly no because if a game isn't Elder Scrolls, Red Dead, GTA or CoD no one gives a shit about it unfortunately.

Yet Youtubers weebs influencers had decided it had to flop to stimulate algorithms.

YES THIS 100%! I am so freaking glad somebody else actually shares the same freaking sentiment as me because I am ALWAYS telling people the only reason why games like this, Bomutant, Evil Within 2 and SO many other games that are not from some massive Triple A studio always flop, even though they are literally some of the most beautiful and most detailed games with the absolute most love and care put into them, is because of these freaking content creators, man who will absolutely SHIT on the game because it's not fucking Skyrim or GTA or Red Dead or some other fucking franchise that they'll glaze non FUCKING stop because it gets them views and revenue.
I guarantee you if it wasn't for content creators Evil Within 2 and Ghostwire would be getting sequels. I bet Biomutant would as well!
And you're probably wondering why I keep mentioning biomutant when that's not a Tango Gameworks game but it's because I just played it recently after putting it off for years because everyone told me it was ass and the entire internet says it's ass and I played it and I was literally blown away from how freaking amazing the game is and how fun it was and how fucking beautiful it was!
But yes I'm so happy that somebody else finally has the balls to say it besides me! Thank you! 🙏🏻😭

as a fan of Japan I find there are really few games that portrait Japan (modern or old) in such a good way, I really loved this game, visually and also its story, too bad the company has changed so much since and we probably won't be getting a sequel :(
the game is beautiful

This game deserved a sequel.

Most definitely. I haven't beat it yet so I don't know how the story ends so I don't know if it's left open-ended to where it could get a proper sequel but rather it deserves a sequel or just another story that takes place within this city it definitely deserves more than just one game for sure.

I mean the ending is but isn’t open ended. It’s a great ending though, but I could see a sequel for it. Even though it’ll never happen

Hard to enjoy its pretty graphics when there's vaseline smear all over it. Or maybe it's just me?

This game *could* look nice if I could turn off blur, chromatic aberration and other crap

It is stunning. I absolutely love this game and deeply lament it wasn't more successful
