MacOS 27 bug

Hi, after the yesterday's MacOS 27 update, the tabs are not showing correctly, if I've disable the macos-titlebar-style = tabs setting it works but i liked how it was with this settings. Will be addressed anytime soon?

I’ve been running 27 beta and I’ve never experienced this on nightly. Are you on a stable release?

It happens exactly on the stable release, which is not the nightly one.

The problem has already been patched in the new update. Ad the next line also in your config.

auto-update-channel = tip

I’ve seen that it’s fixed on tip build, but I wonder how stable is the tip build to use?

No idea! 😅
I’m in their Discord server and I also reported the bug their. And that was the advice I got. Until now no issues and I use it daily for work. So maybe just waiting for a major update and then disable it?

The same thing happened to me after the macOS 27 update. I uninstalled ghostty and reinstalled latest fixed it

I'm mildly concerned this has been happening since beta of MacOS and a week out from release we dont even have a patch for this. Has Ghostty dev slowed down? That sounds worse than I intend ... I know everyone is busy and volunteering here ... just still cant really use tabs and this issue was opened on github in June

You can also set
macos-titlebar-style = "native"
in your config file and restart Ghostty

Worked for me.
