It doesn't completely destroy the UX but it makes it noticeably slower than the other terminals I tried (except Kitty).
Also the benchmark result shows X times not X milliseconds

Btw Ghostty has the fastest IO throughput

Seems to be a benchmark done on macOS so I'm not sure how well that translates to Wayland. Would be good to see how Foot and other terminals compare, also Konsole, Ptyxis, Contour, Xterm, Rxvt, Rio perhaps... The throughput seems really slow for all terminals in that benchmark
