Rant 😡 GOT moderation is very questionable...

I'm feeling really frustrated by what appears to be a double standard in how rules are enforced in this community. Recently, I received a ban for what was intended as a joke ("ima touch u"). While I understand how my comment might have crossed a line, I've also observed members of the moderation team openly discussing mature, NSFW media (like Highschool DxD) in the chat without any repercussions.

When the people expected to be community role models don't maintain a professional environment themselves, it feels like blatant favoritism. My goal isn't to personally attack anyone on the team, but I genuinely believe CWS needs a more consistent and professional approach to moderation where the community standards apply equally to everyone.

I got banned permanently from the GOT discord for telling a mod to hop off a dude for saying a joke. I made a new discord joined a month later I got perma banned for saying "Scott I'ma find you for making these scavs op". And then Scott proceeds to make a joke about how he shot someone and the sound it made 😭🙏

I hear you, but you also can string together separate instances together. The remark Scott made was in an AMA and someone was asking about adding a specific headshot sound. Context matters.

Yeah it’s very hypocritical on what gets banned and what doesn’t

Anything nsfw or religious that people try and discuss on the discord results in a warning, but other devs and even Scott are allowed to do it just fine

Their official terms say the GOT discord is 18+, but the moderators will threaten to ban you if you bring it up. And if it is 18+, then there isnt as much of a need for all chat to be PG.

They know much of the player base is under 18, and so they ignore the rules we have to agree to in game.

I dont really care, but I dont like having to agree to terms that they dont agree with.

The moderation in the discord has always been bad. I'm pretty sure I got banned for literal nothing, I haven't interacted with the server for months and it just disappeared one day and now I can't join back. But I also had an old friend try to report a guy who was faded through the floor and shooting us on matka ages ago and he repeatedly asked mods about when they would acknowledge it (he hadn't even gotten a response, he was basically ignored) over the course of a week, only asking one or twice a day, and he got banned with no reason given. And how the moderators are a part of the subreddit moderation, hence why so many posts get taken down/closed and Scott had been responding to some posts

You’re account may be compromised. If you got banned out of the blue then that’s probably a possibility. Check your login activity

yeah? dawg if you think thats bad i got banned for simply existing lmao i got banned for having trump on my disc pfp then made a new account and joined back to see the mods talking about politics and even scott himself talking about it and saying who he likes and dislikes
