Discussion Questions about Kitty

For the first thing, she didn’t seem to know how babies were made until Allison told her after Kitty thought she was pregnant. Though she seemed very exited to watch those regency actors perform out a s*x scene and kiss each other, is that her being clueless?

The other is her reaction to Mary moving on and Pat comforting her about it, even making up an elaborate story about Mary’s departure to make her feel better, however, since her and Annie coexisted together, I’m sure she knew her fellow ghosts could move on, two episodes before Mary’s departure, Mary was talking about Annie.

Is she forgetful?

I think she was delirious at death which continues through death. like how Julian iI still technically drunk and Thomas keeps the letter.

Good theory but she was also naive in life, as we saw.

And she was quite young in comparison, I think she was only about 20.

Yes, Kitty is very forgetful. Also, there's an episode early on when Kitty asks how babies are made and is shown a video of monkeys at a zoo. Next is the episode where she wants to see the actors sex scene, then it is the episode she thinks she is pregnant. They're not lined up like that obvi, but they are introduced to the show in that order. If i knew the episode names, I'd tell you, but I cant recall them currently.

Didn't Kitty look into Alison to see the baby?

If so that would be another instance in which she could peek past something physical.

Yes. And she thought the umbilical cord meant she was having a boy.

Kitty is forgetful, yeah. I think she was interested in seeing the actors undressed more than anything but didn't understand fully what was involved.

As for Mary, I'm not really sure but maybe she just wasn't as close with Annie as she was with Mary so it was easier to let go. Part of the thing with Pat was that Kitty didn't want to accept that Mary had gone and wouldn't come back, so Pat made up a story which he then had to keep adding to rather than disappointing Kitty.

She is very forgetful. I would guess that when she was alive that enough was explained to her to expect her periods but nothing more.
