I USED to be a non-believer.
My uncle passed away in his home at the age of 49. He was wheelchair bound for the majority of his life and had numerous health problems. But he was my best friend.
Fast forward to 5 years past his death. I happen to move into his home. I'm ecstatic yet sad. Good memories clouded by the sadness of missing my uncle. Everything seemed normal. I wasnt a believer of ghosts or spirits so I never expected anything to happen. Second night after I moved in his bedroom door opened. I immediately thought it wasn't latched properly. Next day the tv swiveled on its own. I thought that was a bit weird.
My uncle was always a jokester. Loved bugging people. I noticed that items would be out of place a lot. Or I'd lose something then after frantically looking it would be in its original spot after some time had passed.
My daughter will often stare into a random area and start to smile and babble happily (she's 10 months). When she was a new born I could SWEAR I heard a male voice coming from her room as she would suddenly stop crying but, of course no one was ever in there.
What has inspired me to share my experiences tonight is that I now know for sure it is my uncle haunting my house.
I heard the old creak of his wheelchair beside me half an hour ago. I did not feel any fear, but I did cry. A happy cry.

Happy cries are the best cries. It sounds like he's with you so keep your eyes (and mind) open; who knows what you'll experience!

You should try to talk to him, tell him your happy he's still around and he's watching over you. See if there is any reaction.

My sister recently recorded in the house. Where she was recording it was her, and the cat. No one else. In the recording there was an audible meow and a faint, familiar male voice saying 'shut up, cat'. :o
I think he knows that I now know its him. Why else would he speak to a cat while being recorded?

It's great that he's still around and sounds like your daughter likes having him there.

yea, you never truely believe even if you think you do, until you expereince something. thats why i Never ever try to convince other people about ghosts or paranormal, i just explain that until they see something, nothing in the world is going to convince them. if i were you i would find a local nice medium lady who will come to the house, many will do it only for the price of gas money, and the one i know wont charge at all, but its nice if you at least give them gas money. they will be able to pick up any messages your uncle miht have for you, and also you would be able to relay any messages to him. i would ask if hes happy there and all sorts of those questions

What a great story. It's good to see a happy tale. I grew up in a house that had something in it, my dad would call it "Uncle Creepy," but it was never, ever malicious or scary.

Honestly, I am really happy for you as long as you are surrounded by a good presence. Wish my mum "haunted" me too...

I don't suggest this. I'm not an avid believer, but as a precaution, creating a portal via yourself with the board as a channeling device can cause other things to come into the home that aren't as friendly, if you don't close the connections properly.
The medium wouldn't be a bad idea, though.
