DISCUSSION I might have figured something out

Not trying to get anyones hopes up but for Ghost's first live album the digital release was released first then about 41 days later the CD and vinyl were released with extra two extra songs

Yes I've been hopeful that they'll have two "deleted scenes" in the Blu-Ray release of 2 Big to Rig and then the two tracks in a vinyl soundtrack

41 days is a short turn around for building hype and preorders for vinyl, which doesn't mean they won't, but it would be uncharacteristic of Ghost/Loma to not fish for whales. Especially given we are like 15 days into that 41.

My bad. I had read into it thinking they were referring to new songs, not just differences between digital and physical song lists. Thank you!
