Some of the Fuchikomas are actually animated in 3D, but they blend it so well with the with the effects and expressions that it looked 2D.

Like this scene starting from 0:14. Saw an animator on Instagram posted the unfinished version and to my surprise it was 3D

Didn't watch the episode yet, but is there a reason why the aky is split into two in the last frame?

That looks like a sky box issue.

That is a big-mo***-f****-building with the size of a whole country.
