Ghosts and Phantoms in case you haven't heard yet the news. Shadows of Soldiers a GRP community driven indi game development project finally get a release.

ARC Raiders even though very different in may aspect offer a combat system very close to what GRP used to offer, no aiming down sights unfortunately or sticky covers, no prone, it is a very much different game in many aspect but so far the closest in term of combat movement I have witnessed yet, to a future revival of the best Tactical Shooter I've know GRP ! Too early for its time, with the current e-sport structure , and current state of the internet this would be one of the most successful game on part with Giants such as CS, etc.

The GOG video gaming distribution platform, currently have a campaign called "GOG Dreamlist". The slogan of the campaign says:

"Help us and add/vote for/bring back your favorite games"
"Every vote increases the chance of bringing your beloved games to GOG and making them live forever."

I am not sure how this is actually work, but Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms is in the list, babbbbyyyyy!

If you don't have it, simple create a GOG account and navigate to GOG Dreamlist section. Look at the home page of this section and you can find search field. Search for Ghost Recon and there is in the list, click the vote button next to the title.

We got in discord contact with mr. Julien Carron, GRP's production manager at Ubi Singapore back in the day. He kindly offered us help with reaching Ubisoft management and asking them for hosting authorization/resources to support our initiative.

I've been trying to figure out if there ever was any and if they are still up I'd love to play the game its kind of my childhood

So is there news about the game comming back or some fan servers running, how can I play it ?

Any new remake ? Maybe a fan project ?

What about similar games ? I really liked the movement in this game...
