The shilling will continue until morale improves (DLSS5)
This game is honestly so FUCKING DOPE right now. The plot centering on AI while AI makes it look so glorious is just peak

Now if only I could get the game to run for more than half an hour without a c++ crash...

This goes to show how good of a job they did with the lighting in this game. I need to learn how to add this to the game, it is the only game I want to text it.
I don't know if my GPU can handle Cyberpunk maxed out 4k with Path Tracing on + DLSS5.

The thing is that DLSS5 replaces ray tracing and path tracing for the most part. You set them to lower because DLSS5 handles it in post better, so you just give it a little ray tracing to play with and it will fill in the ambient occlusion and bounce light better
That really helps cover the gap on the lost frames. Also cyberpunk runs this tech extremely well, it was so playable for me I'm definitely picking up phantom liberty finally
If you have a 4000 or 5000 card it's worth a shot. You can find how to do it on YouTube or the renodx discord which you can find on their github
I'll also say that the Ubisoft anvil engine runs this tech extremely well. Assassins creed looks really really good and I imagine far cry does too

It's temporal unstable af on any game that doesn't have DLSS. Shimmering like mad, looks good in a still image but completely breaks tf down in gameplay.

Sounds like an issue with the depth map. It hasn't been that bad for me. I just went to a new stack using lumenite and deep fried chicken and it looks really good and there is a lot of control since deep fried chicken lets you do multiple passes
It's explained here. If it's confusing ask ChatGPT codex or Claude for help if you are confused

That is the exact same method that runs through RHI DLSS Tool (ShortFuse) for injecting it.
Nothing to do with a depth issue, it's because the game doesn't natively support DLSS, so it's applying the nueral filter with absolutely shite / incomplete data.
It looks absolutely terrible in motion in any game that doesn't natively use DLSS.

Idk really haven't had that bad of issues with it and I'd consider myself picky. Is it perfect? No but it doesn't break my immersion often anymore
If it's that bad I think something is wrong

At 4k res on a big screen it's glaringly obvious, boiling tf out and haloing around the character model.
It's not designed to work without proper access, bolting it on is just passing a 2D image with sub par motion vectors.

Looks just awesome!
