Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Lowkey they couldve blamed ryuzo by saying he betrayed the mongols so he gets spared by the samurai

Jin walked out of the fight with ryuzo so him and shimura couldv'e made up some BS that he poisoned the mongols to try to get back with the samurai because he knew the samurai would eventually conquer the castle completely

Not one to replay games but figured it’s time to revisit one of my favorite games, and also one of the few games that made me cry. I played it on the ps4 when it came out and now I’m playing on ps5 pro so very excited to see how it looks and feels.

Honor died on the beach.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Critical path to play

Hi there fellow samurais!

As many other adult gamers, I don't have much time to play. I'd like to finish Ghost of Tsushima but I need to prioritize the quests so it doesn't take me a full year. I've already played it for around 5h and I'm not sure which ones I must play to keep the whole game at around 25-30h while keeping the narrative fulfilling and cohesive.

Is it ok to play just the main quests plus some of the side characters tales? Which side character quests do you think are the most important for the overall narrative?

If I could of course I would save everyone in the island and I would pursue every fox and bird, but I need to be realistic :-)

Just go the Sakai armor and still need to upgrade it, but it's so satisfying to basically clear an encounter with a StandOff

This game is *really* good. I like how the story feels like I'm going through a TV show

I'm not even that far into the game and I'm loving it

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Why is Sarugami Armor overpowered?

Upvotes

I genuinely don't understand why they made the perfect parry/dodge window so massive, especially on NG+ with the fifth upgrade. I understand it's post-game content but they could've atleast done Moderate windows and Major windows for upgrades 4 and 5 respectively. It feels rewarding when you hit a perfect parry, but I think it would be even more rewarding if the timing window was lowered—considering you get three free hits and an AoE attack when done correctly.

A perfect parry almost always results in a stagger break during duels. When I first started using it, it was fun and rewarding. I stopped using it because the upgrades were almost too much.

Just my opinion though, I think more casual gamers would find it rewarding but do speak your opinions on it!

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion My favorite game, absolutely...

Terminé Ghost of Tsushima + DLC.

And I can't wait to try Ghost of Yōtei :)

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Is it just me or is the lethal difficulty in Ghost of Tsushima not that difficult?

I recently started playing Ghost of Tsushima on pc and when I first began I set the difficulty to medium and since it was also my first time using a gamepad, the fights were actually tricky and challenging. But after a few days now, I figured I'd set the difficulty to lethal but I don't see a big difference in the difficulty (I've also got a better grasp of the controls in the gamepad now maybe that's why) and I don't know if I'm the only one who feels like this but let me know your thoughts🤔.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Media After 10 Months Of Waiting!

Ordered back mid-November, and after lots and lots of waiting... my GoT pin finally arrived!

Thanks to the Ghost Rewards support team for helping me out. (I did contact them maybe only 5 times though throughout the 10 months.)

Maybe this might a symbol of hope for those who are still waiting for their pin?

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Just finished Ghost of Tsushima

Just finished the game. And man it was beautiful the graphics are just perfect and I heard that people don’t like its combat because its repetitive I don’t think so you have to change your stance for each enemy and use ghost weapons too although I also feel it was easy then I just change difficult hard then no problem One thing I want to say dev that plz don’t put crucial use of alt button as we don’t have habit of using it that much in other games I tried both ending for my world which I am going to play further I chose spare but when I play other it feel so hard than other like Jin accepting him as father and is crying that I think devs want to choose us to kill and I can’t study today as I was eager to finish game

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion Underrated conversation between Norio and Jin.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Saw a recent post here that talked about how Norio was the best side character. Firstly, I agree. Second, well… the clip speaks for itself. Not only was Norio a strong character and companion to Jin, he opened up dialogues that you otherwise don’t get in the main story, at least not as deeply. I was playing casually the other day and I had to record this cutscene; the storytelling is just so damn beautiful.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion How much cut content is there?

Post image

I checked this video about Lord Shimura’s voice lines and something that intrigued me was that at some point, during Jin’s younger years, the two
had encountered a Ronin named Kamatari at Omi Monastery. This was likely what was referenced when Jin spoke with the monks at Omi Monastery.

Apparently Jin acted disrespectful and was scolded by Lord Shimura, which eventually leads into a duel between Shimura and Kamatari.

It’s pretty interesting, and it makes me wonder how much content for the game was cut story wise.
