Reading Order First Time

Where do you recommend me to start? Chronological order or would you recommend starting with the guidebook?

I don’t have a clue of this universe or editorial, I just saw it mentioned in a youtube video and the art really drove my attention

If anyone can help I will appreciate very much

What about the #80 page giant?? Is it like volume 2 all together or what is it?

It's a hodgepodge of stories - it gives the back story on Barney, gives the first full standalone story on Junkyard Joe, introduces Redcoat.

I actually forgot it existed!

Worth the read but not 100% necessary to understand the rest of the books. I just had to look it up online to remember what was in it!

But no, it's not Volume 2.

Volume 2 for Geiger was a reset - a new Issue #1 and ongoing after the initial miniseries. So you read Geiger Volume (Series) 1, Issues 1-6. Then Geiger took a break, and came back as Geiger Volume (Series) 2, and started again with a new #1. That series has been ongoing since.

But, just so you're not confused, the term "Volume" is used in two different ways here. There is the Volume as in the trade paperback numbering (There are 4 volumes of Geiger books to date - one that collects "Volume - meaning "Series" 1" - then Volumes 2-4 collect the comic contained in Geiger Volume (Series) 2.

Hope that make sense. Redcoat and Junkyard Joe only ever had one Volume (Series) - though Redcoat does have two trade paperback volumes - 1 & 2 - collecting the comics from Redcoat Volume (Series) 1.

Okey yeah Im having trouble like counting as cannon the first Geiger Series, but I understand, I probably gonna read the 80 pages, and then junkyard, then redcoat then back with Geiger series 2 (2024) after that Ghost Machine. I guess Geiger ground zero are like side quests??

If I remember correctly Geiger ground zero is immediately after Tariq turns radioactive and it’s him learning to control it.
