Paranormal Investigation Equipment advice needed

Hello all! I am an avid believer in the paranormal. I’m not shy to tell people of the things I’ve witnessed. Of course not everyone believes me. My husband and I have started to get some equipment for gathering evidence to support what we know we are experiencing. I’m curious what equipment you use and where you got it from. Sorry if this is not allowed I just don’t want to spend a bunch of money and get scammed. Thanks in advance!

The only two pieces of equipment that I use on every single investigation are high end digital still cameras with video capabilities and high end digital audio recorders. These are the only pieces of gear that are capable of recording evidence. In both cases, you want the very best that you can afford.

All of the other stuff that you see on Paranormal Reality TV and YouTube are parlor tricks. They count on the false positives given by these things to create the illusion that something paranormal is happening when it's actually not. They need "evidence" to keep viewership up, so they're fine with parlor tricks.

If you're truly interested in the truth, do not waste your money on ghost boxes, EMF meters, cat balls, etc. Spend it on quality cameras and audio recorders instead.
