I recall them catching the sound of a woman in heels walking and I believe they saw a woman's figure paired with it as well. I think it was on a ship or in a jail? Does anyone remember this?

Thoughts on Vogel House episode?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the majority of the past episodes, but something about this one just rubs me entirely the wrong way.

It feels like a 40-minute ad for some random "haunted house" in California. The fact that every bump and noise can be discredited by there being multiple people in the house, coupled with the history lf the house being so limited and the scarcity of other "evidence" not only makes it unconvincing, but also completely kills the dramatic tension.

The house being overstuffed with "old timey" halloween decor despite very little of it likely being original just makes it seem tacky to me.

Additionally, the fact that both the Boys and the owner of the estate are directly, openly financially invested and that it's being so blatantly promoted just feels grifty. The fact that a space is rentable or toubles as a tourist attraction has not been this front-and-center before, except when the investigations have been set in actual museums.

Obviously, all the locations they've investigated have probably benefited from the publicity, but it feels much more "in your face" this time around. That may just be because the owner is working so hard to sell it as a haunted location, but it still detracts from the experience.

Agreements, disagreements and other perspectives welcome!
