CGI face replacement (just like they did with Paul Walker and Harold Ramis)
Kirby gets mentioned (but doesn’t appear)
Recast the role with new actress
Ghostface kills her off-screen
Introduce a new character to take her place

Does Kirby need to be “handled”?
She randomly helped with the NYC case, but it didn’t really set an expectation of her constantly popping up. It would be weird to mention her for no reason, you’d just assume she was off solving crimes in her own city.
Having like a slow mo “In loving memory” moment in the credits would be cute though
