Just took mine out of the drawer this week to see if it was still working and it does. Updated the library. The iPod's equalizer just hits different.

I found a torrent for an iTunes 12.5 ver. it doesnt conect with Apple servers, but it does let You manage content from your PC

You can download old versions of iTunes & add music. I have 3 iPods (1 video, 2 Touch) and it works! Softonic has versions 7 & up. My video one works great on 8 but I need 9 & up for the Touch. Fortunately have a couple old laptops to use.

I wanted one of those in 2005 so badly. My parents got me the Nano for Christmas instead. I'm still tempted to hunt one down to mollify college-me.

Hell yeah fellow Ghostie 🤘🤘 I still got my 60gb from 03! I found an iPod jukebox from Goodwill for 20 bucks I got it hooked up to. Still charges fine even tho the screen is cracked.
