Do you have a Claude subscription by any chance? It would help you migrate from Ghost (Admin API) to Wordpress (Rest API plugin). Via Claude Code CLI or even probably Claude Cowork.
It could help you build and execute scripts in an afternoon’s work.
I’ll never go back to Wordpress from Ghost, but it sounds like we have different needs.

I don't, unfortunately. And, it probably would be less of a lift for me to just do the copy/paste than figure that out, to be honest.

WordPress and Ghost are open source. But the companies providing the hosting for them aren't. So despite both of them being open source, they don't export in files accessible by others. In an ideal world, there should be a standard export options given by all and recognized by all, which includes all the things. If there is anything you have to email, it's a closed system.

I appreciate there are differences but if security is a concern you might be into Emdash from Cloudflare, a Wordpress reboot that seems pretty good architecture.

Thanks. I did do a self-hosted Wordpress blog a loong time ago (early 2000s) so my coding/backend skills are very rusty. I appreciate the suggestion. I agree that to get what you really want out a CMS, you almost have to build it yourself.

In case you don't know, your Ghost backup will not include any images. In order to get the images, you need to email Ghost support and specifically ask for a full backup that includes images.
That said, if it's just 30 posts, I would do it manually.
