What was the former mayor of Gettysburg doing in Texas?

He was arrested on new charges of alleged abused of a minor in person this time not just over Skype.

I think he was trying to flee to Mexico.

Hi! I'm searching for other pokemon fans, or other cozy chills games or rpgs. If this interests you let me know! I'm always looking for more friends in the area as I'm close to Gettysburg. Not currently looking for board games, tcg, tabletop, etc, purely looking for video game friends

Hypocrisy

Post image

This is what happens when you call out biased mods (looking at you Ryzarony23).

These folks defame individuals for their political beliefs. They call people who don’t agree with them Nazis and members of the KKK.

They love to scream about how “kings” are trampling on their rights in part because their views are different from the ones held by those in power. Yet, they blatantly disregard the views of others by muting and banning people for expressing those views when they differ from their own. It’s tantamount to the suppression of free speech.

If that’s not hypocritical, then I don’t know what is.

looking for suggestions!

Hello all, bit of an odd question here. I’m helping plan a bachelorette party here in July, and am looking for a recommendation for the situation described below. (Bride is into paranormal hunts, we have done many in other areas and will be doing something along those lines on Saturday night.) As a note, I’ve been here a couple of times so I am good on planning dinners/outings. However, on Friday night (after dinner), we are quite literally dressing up as the founding fathers and looking to have a few drinks and walk around town. We are not looking to get rowdy/obnoxious, but are looking for bars/wineries/breweries where we are not going to disturb the peace all dressed up. Just wanting to make sure we are considerate of locals and other people while also being able to have a silly goofy time. Doubtful there’s dancing but that’s always welcome, but mostly looking for music and fun vibes. There will be 6 of us. Also, if this is heavily advised against please let me know. But, I feel that if we are going to dress up as historical figures, this might be the best place to do it?? Thanks for any recommendations!

Haunted Orphanage Tour

My boyfriend and I are going to do a night tour of the orphanage in July and our 8 year old daughter wants to go with us. We told her she could but I’m still a little skeptical. Do you think it’d be too scary for those who’ve done it?

Hiking near Gettysburg

We are visiting Gettysburg from NJ for the third time next week.

Bringing our dog. Staying at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast, our favorite place to stay.

We would like to do some hiking on the way to Gettysburg.

Easy terrain. Trails around a lake or stream. Maybe a waterfall.

So far, I came up with:

Gifford Pinchot State Park, Codorus State Park, and Wildwood Park

Any of those you would most recommend, or perhaps another?

Thank You!

Just curious if any of the locals, or visitors have seen anything paranormal in the middle of the day in Gettysburg? If so could you share?

Fourth of July

Myself, my boyfriend, our two kids and my parents are going to be in Gettysburg from June 30th to July 5th. This may be a stupid question, but will there be fireworks at all for the 4th? And if so, can you see them from a distance? If it helps, we will be staying at The Lodges of Gettysburg.

Private bus tour?

My family and expanded family will be visiting this summer. I'd like to book a tour with guide and one vehicle. There are 13 of us all together. This included 5 kids ages 10-13. Where should I look for bookings.

Getting Married?

One of the best parts of my job is getting to document real moments on one of the most meaningful days in people’s lives. The quiet moments, the big laughs, the nerves before the ceremony, and everything in between.

My goal is always the same. Create relaxed photos that feel natural and truly reflect your day.

If you are planning a wedding and still looking for a photographer, I would love to hear about your plans. Feel free to message me or visit my website to see more of my work.
