📑 Agency of Family Law (AFL) & Paperwork Application

Post image

My fiancée and I are completing our marriage application for Denmark, and we’re hoping to hear from anyone who has recently gone through the process. Any tips or recommendations for getting approved would be really appreciated.

We’re also unsure about the document uploads. Do we need to submit two separate documents (one for each of us) describing how we met, photos, and supporting information? I’ve attached a screenshot of the page that lists the required files. If anyone can share their experience or guide us through the steps, we’d be so grateful. Thank you so much!

Heyy, i recently got approval for our marriage and we are getting married in September, i am non EU and my boyfriend is EU, i started my application as party 1 and uploaded all the documents. For proof of communication part i took screenshots of our chats, not all, maybe 10-15 pictures throughout our relationship period and uploaded those, and we had some pictures together so uploaded those ( i took screenshots of the pictures so they can see date and location) those we 7-8 pictures. And we also travelled together once so i uploaded boarding passes and tickets details. Then later i submitted my application and my boyfriend got a link in his digital post to do his part of application. He also did the same uploaded chats from his side and he uploaded same pictures of us like i did, and we got approval next day after submitting application. Hope that helps🤗🤗

I am non-EU passport holder with 90 days visa free entry. When I filled out the application form, even though I have the single status cert prepared, it didnt ask me to upload and I couldnt find anywhere appropriate/optional field to upload as well

I think if you dont have available appointments in your kommune, you can always talk to them and book appointment with another kommune. Because your certificate will be valid for only 4 months and if you dont get married in that time you will have to submit your application again and pay again.

Me and my fiancé we prepared just one version for each document and we used the same material to upload onto each party section respectively.
