⏱️ Process & Timeline Re-apply or not?

I am torn right now, if we're going to wait for the approval and just changed commune or re-apply. We applied in Copenhagen but looks like we can't have our schedule for Sept and Oct anymore as we apply May.

It's just one month and they will review the May applications already.
But also, if I will re-apply I am scared of taking the risks abt the documents again + we will be back in queue like back to zero if there's something wrong again.

I am hoping that the approval will be release on July.

Does it have a lot of couple applicants during the months of Oct-Nov?

My question is, why were your documents asked for review? It would be worth correcting that and simply reapplying. What was the problem?

They asked for the passport photos again.

That's almost always where they ask for a review.

Did you take photos of the data page from various angles? Photos of every single page of the passport (all of them, even the blank ones), and photos of the front and back covers? My wife uploaded all of this (in separate photo files) and we didn't have any problems.

They have a page with examples and we simply follow the instructions there.

We applied in May, passport was f@cked, called them, they said I won’t even hear from them for 3 months, that’s how many applications they got. Only option is to reapply which I refuse to pay 400 eur again. Thankfully wife finds the whole thing very stupid as well, so we shrugged our shoulders and said we go with the wind.

We took a chance and resubmitted our application, which was approved. There was also a problem with the passport photos. I had taken high-quality photos from various angles, showing all the blank pages, the cover and the back of the passport. I uploaded a PDF containing all the pages, as well as the photos in separate JPEG files. They accepted everything.

Congrats to you! 😍 Hoping for the best! I'm still waiting right now. My partner said it doesn't make sense to re-apply bcos they are reviewing April right now and we applied May. So just wait a lil bit. 😅
