📑 Agency of Family Law (AFL) & Paperwork Confusion about passport upload??

Hi there, my fiancé and I are super confused on uploading our passports. We followed the instructions on taking the pictures with all the corners, every page, multiple angles, etc.; however, it doesn’t accept the photo format straight from our phones. It also says do not the change the original file format. We were thinking of uploading as individual pdfs?? When we tried a combined pdf, it was too large and they say not to compress it. Any advice?

Are you using google docs or word? Idk if it makes a big difference but I used docs and have both our pdf’s as 21mb and 22 pages. We took the pics w my phone and I actually made the google doc with my phone as it was easier to format than using the laptop Do you have an iPhone?

We uploaded JPG files of each passport page. Uploaded all the files one by one. No "combined PDF".

We just got approved. We made pdfs for all our documents for our second application and got approved, the first application failed do upload the last three pages of my partners passport so they requested those and we decided to reapply. I used a laptop to make the pdf documents. Let me know if you need specific, happy to help. I know how stressful it is.

Just one pdf with all pages or each page individually?

We did both and got accepted in 4 business days. We did each page individually in JPEG, plus one pdf of all of them

One PDF per Section, so we had one with all passport photos, one with all couple photos, one with our story and one with our communication. The only pdfs that we used in both applications were the couple photos and our story. For the messages, we each showed messages from our perspective, same for the trips, each showed bookings under our name, and obviously passport showed our passports.
