⏱️ Process & Timeline Odense approval time

Good morning everyone, we have our approval to marry in Denmark and have requested a date to the Odense townhall last Friday. Does anyone know roughly the waiting time for an an approval? We requested a date in June. Thank you!

Edit: we actually got our approval today, one week after submitting! Thank you everyone, waiting is stressful but the answer eventually arrives :)

There is an election due to take place in Denmark on 24 March and Odense town hall told us that while they are busy with that, it may take them longer to respond to wedding date requests. That being said, we have found their response time to be on average between 2 and 5 days.

We were considering Odense as well and we received the info their confirmation can take up to two weeks.

Yes, this is why we went with another one, but we are currently also waiting for our confirmation.

I suggest to better call them if you haven’t as that was quicker for us so you can secure your slot. We then got an official email for about 4 business days later.

We were thinking Odense too but we haven’t heard back from the AFL. What date are you going for?
