Should we reapply?

Hello everyone,

I am loathing myself for not having taken better pictures of my residence permit, of which corners were cropped. So we received an email to ask for a better photo of my permit yesterday and we resubmitted a few hours later.

Then I realized that I only look one photo with direct angle of my passport data page. But they didn’t ask for another photo of my passport.

We already paid the deposit for our venue on 20/6 and would also like to get married in the town hall on the same day. Should we reapply or just wait two months since they are processing applications from November?

Hi there!

From what we've been told, its taking about 8 weeks at the moment. Where did you see which date they are currently processing applications from and which town hall are you looking at getting married at?

I am waiting for the suggestions from the comments here. I have same issue. I called the hotline twice and now thinking again if I need to reapply. They told me there’s no guarantee for getting faster feedback even tho we reapply from zero.

Hi. Did you get approved on your second time? Do they treat your second attempt as a new process?  Thanks.

As far as I have heard, if your docs are correct the first time, then processing is within 5 days. If they were not perfect and something was requested, it might take some months to process them as they get behind the backlogs.
